Tim Burton would have had a field day with Killer Croc. A character like Croc is right up his alley.
I thought the same since on what he did to the movie Dumbo....
funnily enough the Tim Burton's batman film about the Penguin should've had Killer Croc at the beginning but ended up whit the penguin being th devious monster instead!

The fact that Killer Croc and Orca have one of the ONLY not-depressing endings in all of the Injustice universe ALWAYS makes me smile. The fact that she gets pregnant and they get married in gorilla city and R’as let’s them go (quite stupidly I may add) is just hilarious and awesome.
I also love Waylon when he’s more toned down and an abused member of society just hiding from everyone-like in Batman Earth One, or even in other stories where he’s more cooperative and level-headed. I also like that he was really really trying to help Roy as his sponsor before Roy died at Sanctuary.
6:39 You might’ve said the wrong thing here, since he’s not a Humanoid crocodile. He was born a human, but with crocodile traits slowly progressing throughout his life.
Killer Croc is my favorite DC villain of all time. He’s just so interesting and awesome! His abilities and ferocity are amazing. The more I learned about him from movies, shows, and comics; the more I began to really empathize with him. He’s only a villain because he was given that part to play. Deep down he’s truly just a broken man.
You would like Batman Earth One. Waylon is really great in that.
He also has some pretty neat appearances in some of the Swamp Thing books in the past. Good video

His design that makes him look like a kind of werecrocodile with a big tail is the best design I think. It looks so cool with that design. The suicide squad movie was a disappointment with his design. He was just so obviously a guy with makeup 🫤
Crocodiles are diapsids... mammals are synapsids. They diverged well before any atavism could have been shared. A dimetrodon would have been the closest you'd get... probably closer to gorgonopsid. Adding crocodile stem cells into the base of his brain could have caused mutations to his endocrine system allowing for his physical changes. Another explanation is a variant of the green monkey disease or metahuman physiology.

I feel like killer croc is really underuse. He is the a great exemple of a tragic character and they use him to much for just a big brute murder

yeah..i've always found it annoying that they try to cloak Croc's condition in scientific terms....even though it's bloody OBVIOUS his mutation has progressed FAR beyond that. whatever he has, it's NOT a "skin condition." and the atavism thing makes little sense when you're switching genus completely. Croc's diagnosis is being made by people who don't have a freaking clue. "he has a metagene" is actually a BETTER explanation than the rest...and goes a good way towards explaining how he gets less and less human as his body is put under greater duress(initially due to his early abuse, and later the consequenses of his life of violent crime) I mean..last i checked, crocodiles can't regrow thier severed limbs in a matter of days. or at all, for that matter.
My favorite villain in batman. Always did have a soft dpot for really cool reptillain heros and villans.

It depends on the version. Overall I would go with Croc, but specific versions of leatherhead are super intelligent like the 2003 version so that one would beat your typical Croc, but then there’s killer crocs like The Batman (2004) who’s tactically smart
