He also was able to beat Ra's al Ghul in chess despite never playing; even Ra's said he had the finest mind he's ever seen and Bane was able to deceive Ra's and Talia to the point that even Ra's wanted him as his heir. He was the strategist for the Secret Six. And in Batman Rebirth, it's shown that Bane is really diabolical when it comes to psychological warfare and manipulation. He is shown to have a photographic memory, able to speak up to 14 languages, classically educated and erudite, is a brilliant strategist, learned how to fight and created his own styles, created his own workout routine that maximized his physique, etc.

I love the bane from "Batman Arkham origins" that bane was the band accurate from the comics he was sharp, intelligent and physically powerful. He even deduced batman's identity.
