Generously shared good tips again Steve. There I am gently stroking my leeks keeping them warm and cosy and you’re beating the life out of them! 👍🏾 great. I’ll be looking up calcified seaweed now.

Yes, I am mean to my plants at times, it is ok with the Leeks, but I would be much more careful with something like Celeriac...Steve...😃

I’ve started double sowing as back-ups after you said to safe guard yourself. I see tomatoes are £5 a plant now in the shops. So after all the blight we had last year & losing my entire lot I’ve planted loads. I can’t be without them again.
I’ve got some in the greenhouse & some on the windowsill.
Hedge my bets as you always say & I feel better for it 😅
£1 for 10-20 seeds or £5 a plant- no brainer - then I can give some away if need be.
I like the early leek trick 👍🏻 great idea for autumn 🍂 food prices going up so these little tips are REALLY useful right now. Thanks Steve

    Hi Steve
I just want to say thank you for all your gardening advice. I recently followed your advice about taking cuttings from snap dragon plants.. so I took what I could from the one plant which made it through the winter... 9 cuttings in all ...and 8 have rooted :-) this is so much easier than seeds... and I will definitely do this again... thank you 😊

Excellent vlog, great info. I typically use all purpose organic fertilizer with bone meal and I keep hitting with Chilean nitrogen until they bulb. Never knew about calcified seaweed....gotta try it now, as I am a huge allium fan...this year red onion, shallots (first time from seed), leeks and bunching onions.

I remember planting onions like that many years ago. I need to find dried seaweed. In Florida it's not allowed to pick up seaweed at the beach.
