I'm definitely starting with the dancer! I've been enamored with the dual metal fan moveset since I first got eyes on Steelrising. Can't wait to play the whole game tomorrow!
I just bought this game 1 hour ago I can’t wait till it downloads!!! I think I picking the dancer seems like a dex type build and with dark souls I usually do a strength build but I’m stepping out of my comfort zone
I picked the soldier and used the Leda Halberd weapon (found behind Marbeau’s house). Once you’ve maxed and invested in Power, Vigor and Engineering. You will walk through this game with some ease
I started with Alchemic cause I like doing element damage in games, but I quickly had to start over. The reach with the starter batons was terrible, plus the special “cold” attack didn’t really do anything, and they do basically no stagger. I was much happier switching to Soldier. The starting Halberd is great! It’s got attack range, power, and you get a special gun/range attack.
As of the little i played from the beta I would say the elements are OP (minor weapon spoiler lol) especially the gun you get from a chest a little after the starting area Is super OP It stuns regular enemies and bosses with ease definite pickup from me. As for starting class I'm going dancer... and then i will get the chain as soon as possible as it was extremely fun to play with and it staggers insanely good
The pistol gets significantly weaker once you hit some the of the titan bosses and harder enemies. Dancer is a great class choice, but the chain scales with Power, Dancer starts with Agility, soldier or Alchemist might be the better choice if you plan to run the Fire Chain.
@@norzza Oh alright good because I thought I was gonna steam roll the game with that pistol lmao... and yeah you're right I might have to take that into consideration I really didn't like the feel of the hammer haven't tried the halberd I might go with that tbh
@@legoobi-wankenobi8882 there is a weird thing I have with the halbert soldier class weapon I have to really spam the attack button to keep the combo going if I press it a millisecond too late it just keeps doing the poke attack which is really slow and you end up exchanging damage with the enemy that way
It's obvious that the game was designed around agility (dancer) class. Just pump points into agility and vigour trees, use fortify imobilisation module and dodgeattack everything until they are stunned and use critical hits to bring them down. There is no need for granade spam exploit, the game is super easy when played this way.
There isn't a ranged class sadly. There are some pistols in the game. Most ranged options are special moves on weapons like the starting Halberd for Soldier.
What class are you picking? 😀
Dancer. I like the speed and the weapons of this playstyle.

The Dancer was my first pick as well. I have a full Dancer build guide in the works currently :)
It seems like Dancer is the most versatile class giving you access to tons of weapons
I played Dancer in the beta/demo, going through as the Alchemist now and loving it.
Alchemist is very fun, I love the batons!

Sounds great, I just put out my Dancer build guide. It's my favorite class as well :)
@@norzza I will check it out my brother
I think dancer is the best for my intended gameplay. Just got this game, gonna start with dancer and enjoy the game :)
Have fun!

Definitely dancer I've tried every class and the fans are the easiest for me to use

I started with alchemic and the first boss is awful to go through. 😔
Does this game allow you to do multiple playthroughs, kind of like how elden ring does??
Yes, there is new game plus
@@obi-wankenobi8446 Is there a means to reset Aegis's stats that's implemented yet?

Am I the only one who chose soldier can you respec in this game dancer seems more fun to play
No ranged classes?
Soldier class gets ranged weapon, the halberds secondary attack is shot or there's the pistol which is completely ranged
There isn't a ranged class sadly. There are some pistols in the game. Most ranged options are special moves on weapons like the starting Halberd for Soldier.
Thanks
Can someone please buy me this game, I really wanna play it
