I lived in a studio until last winter and I’m still OBSESSED with watching studio apartment tours and small space living hacks! Now I live in a one bedroom in Chicago but it’s still not massive. I just love finding new nooks to hide my stuff haha!
under the bed storage is an EXCELLENT solution! I actually don't own a dresser because I'm able to either hang everything up or stick it in the bins under my bed
I’ve been in my little 350 square-foot studio for 2 1/2 years now, and I’ve just accumulated way too much stuff for this space 😅 I get so mad every time I open a cabinet to get some thing out and 10 other things fall out with it, lol. Great video!
This is really good advice, especially the part about getting to know the space first before filling it up with stuff. I’ve recently moved into a small flat with my husband, luckily neither of us have too much stuff but space management will be something to consider more once we start a family. Thanks for sharing.
Over an hour and still now comments? They’re speechless, Caira. Such a great video with no flaws to comment on! Also I am that kind of person that is fine having a tiny apartment. If I have a futon, table, sink, fridge, and bathroom, then I’m good. I prioritize a nice big living room. But you did a great job making a bedroom out of this tiny apartment! Great job!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This comment is so sweet, I really appreciate it. And same, I need the necessities and everything to be functional for how I use my little space, but that is it. Seriously thank you so much for the support. I really appreciate it
Here is the coffee table: www.ikea.com/us/en/p/arkelstorp-coffee-table-black-30354127/ The couch we bought used but you can find some similar ones here: www.amazon.com/shop/cairabutton?listId=1O7GDQFK9YZOT
Where did you get the sofa and rolling cart? My bed frame is18 inches and a few things under it. Looking for some bed skirts online. Very helpful video. Love your space. TFS
One idea is too look at the furniture you have and see if their are any ways to reuse them for example using an old desk draws for under bed storage and using the top of the desk as a fold down table
I like your studio! I just moved to a new studio apartment. What is more upsets me that shoes I go outside very close to my clean clothes or close to my bed.
This is the first time I've watched your video. You had some great tips!! I'm moving from a one bedroom to a studio apartment. It will be quite a change for me!! I've been downsizing before moving so it will be interesting. Best wishes Duane
My bf & I are about to be renting the living room of a 100+ year old farmhouse. We won't have any closets, AND we'll be sharing the laundry, kitchen, and bathroom with other tenants. Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated! TIA.
It's hard to find a small kitchen island like yours that has the extra counter space for high chairs/stools and also so much storage space. Any idea where to find something like it besides second hand apps like offer up or letgo? Do they have a specific name? Thanks!!!!
There is this one on wayfair that I was able to find! www.wayfair.com/Andover-Mills--Kuhnhenn-Kitchen-Cart-with-Wood-Top-ANDV3103-L56-K~ANDV3103.html?refid=GX107983282826-ANDV3103_24748979&device=c&ptid=390404915465&network=g&targetid=pla-390404915465&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=85115783&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=24748979&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItv69_qbH5AIVXSCtBh1WSwXhEAkYEiABEgK4tvD_BwE

Definitely! Even just having a dog and having to factor in his stuff was a small added challenge. Thank you for the comment!

Hi Caira. Great video! I was wondering which store did you get your stools for your countertop (rolling island)? Thank you.

I haven’t but I’m sure it can be done!
Where is the island from??
I bought it used but here is a similar one! www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/andover-mills-kuhnhenn-kitchen-cart-with-wood-top-andv3103.html
This must be a big studio if you have the nice-sized sofa and another little separate room with a bed.
It’s about 450 sq ft
I wish you had shown your bathroom.
I have a whole video on my studio apartment bathroom organization!
