    Jonas is a man’s man. Less talk more action. A true sportsman. Remco should take notes.

      Remco was just trying to get Jonas out of his game plan. It obviously didn't work.

    One can't overstate how important this confidence will be. He's got a plan (attractive or not) his legs have wasted no efforts in previous stages, and he might get better - scaryyy 😅

    Starting this video with an excerpt of Jonas saying “my strategy,” may prove to be the most important and relevant thing said when analyzing how TDF 2024 was won. Well done.

    Probably better stage than stage 4. Where did they find these hills in Massif Central? Absolutely fantastic parkour for watching. Props to the cameraman going downhill my palms were sweating. Feel bad for Primož but by now it is known he cannot stay on bike and is born at wrong time: too green and weak team during Sky dominance and now too weak for these new super GC guys...the '20 was his chance.

    Jonas seems to be slightly stronger in doing the long uphill efforts, Tadej is more explosive. So it will be interesting in the real mountain stages. But I also think Tadej had more reliable helpers in the Giro with Großschartner and Majka - now it seems like he only has Yates, while Almeida and Ayuso are there but just hang behind him. But lets not forget that Jonas is more than 1 minute behind already!

    • @Nyelands

      UAE clearly has the strongest team. It's up to Pogachar and his leadership how he want's to use them.

    • @JustOneWolf
      @JustOneWolf 17 дней назад

      @@Nyelands definitely and they worked a lot for Pog yesterday, but in my opinion not when it really mattered. Like ie Majka did in the Giro where he escorted Pog late in the climbs for much longer. Just imagine Pog still having such help up the Pertus. So maybe they are not using them correctly or maybe I just dont understand their tactics ;)

    • @Nyelands
      @Nyelands 17 дней назад

      @@JustOneWolf Pogachar is used to doing things on his own, I don't think he really knows how to benefit from a team. But on stage 11 he decided to ride from the far and over extended himself. You don't do that unless you feel like you will lose time in the upcoming stages.

    I'm more surprised by team UEA, having Yates as the last relay 30k from the finish line with 2 climbs remaining. Ayuso looked like he just wanted to check a box, his relay was so short. At this rate, Visma will top them in the big mountain stages.

    Can anyone explain how was that posible to recover a 35 seconds gap on a climb like that with slopes like those 11% , 12 and 13-14% against a well trained and the powerfull rider in the Tour !?!?!? How ! The sprint ... was also miraculous from vingegaard !?! I mean after the crash , time lost with recovery and just one month and a half training , no races, no km added on the bike ... Man ! This is so weird ! Isn't it ? Where is the catch ? I don't follow ! We all saw , on the last 2 tours that vingegaard was the shade of Pogacar , yes. We also know that no one can excape from his shadow ! But , than again this is cycling not fantasy . Is vingegaard a superman ? And ...this again ? vingegaard himself was amazed of his performance !!! Wow ! Man ! This dude thinks that we are idiots !
