Fantastic video mate, informative..and well shown.
I was excited when I saw this, but have recent had a total knee replacement and cannot kneel. A video on how to squat after total knee replacement would be most welcome. Thank-you.
I had a partial new knee in January I would like to have an exercise for the knees going out remedy. Please
I am so grateful, thanks for this video. It is very elaborate and again very helpful. You are such a great carer ! 😊
Thanks for sharing your experience ❤
Thank you for all the tips … just a reminder though that a lot of 50’s population is unable to get on their knees due to other several medical and physical limitations , and will be unable to perform the hip stretches and resistance band exercises you showed … maybe come up with modified positions next video ?
Your book just arrived from Amazon. I haven't started reading it yet but it looks very comprehensive.
Thank you so much for purchasing my book, I really appreciate it - I hope you find it most useful and interesting!
Another great tips, thanks Will.
Happy to help!
Great explanation and demonstration, as always! Thanks a lot! 👍 👍 👍
Very happy to be of help!
Excellent video, Will. I do not understand why people are saying they cannot see your ankles! Perhaps if they viewed the video on a larger screen and wore their glasses, they would be better able to see your ankles. However, that being said, I have a lot of different problems with my eyes, including eight different things that are causing me to go blind in each eye and yet I am able to see your ankles and the positioning of your ankles and so on and so forth, just fine. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
muchas gracias Will! muy bien explicado…sus consejos son de gran utilidad para mi😊❤❤❤
Very good advice and a super video. Just one question: why is your book not available in an ebook format?
THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤
Very happy to help!
Try it and you'll know how "You don't know squat!" became such a powerful expression! Off to Nerfoundland soon, 94 icebergs off their coast this morn, my husband's hoping to regain some of his cool! Bon 🐫 day everyone!

Really useful! I usually get pain in my knees when I squat just a little. Being mindful of your knee and spine advice, I can get into a much deeper squat without discomfort. 😎 Thank you!
So pleased to hear my advice has helped you safely experience the benefit of squats!
Great video Will. Can you recommend the brand of the power band you use?
Exactly, some of them are just cheapo garbage and curl and cut into skin

What about barbell squats? Are they safe after 50? I am 57 and reached 200 pound barbell squat, but felt lower bank pain for 8 weeks. I now switched to doing Bulgarian split squat instead
I am watching your videos so helpful me aged 53yrs female undergone Acl surgery 2012 having l4 l5 problem please tell me about bow leg exercise and having flat feet
5:37 - 5:58 and 6:18 - 8:15 leading with the heal. 🙏🏻☀️💛 yes. Me. Working on this now. And 10:05 - 11:35 too
Any suggestions on people suffer from pateller tendonitis, kindly do a video to deal with it. Thanks
I have hip flexion problems and so I hope the last exercise will help. I had bursitis and knew the standing one led by the heel. Squatting is good if done right thanks.
any exercises to help leg/hip stiffness after walking 8 hours at work?
Thank you for this video. I bought your book even though I am not yet 50. Seeing the exercises live helps a lot! Unfortunately, when I do the squats, I have to take a few days off because of back pain and prolaps l5, s1 :( .
Hi have you tried doing them slowly with your back against the wall, sliding motion? That's what I do, no way could I ever do as he, you don't have to be a hero, did you hear about the Quebecer, 49 who died doing ironman challenge, his lungs collapsed while swimming 🏊, they didn't manage to get him to the hospital in time, his partner is saying his doc gave him the go ahead, she says he was in his best shape ever, that would have been when he was 22!
Try squats with heels elevated. Example put a book under your heels. Try goblet squats. An
Open stance squat might help with your back heel not touching the ground. You can possibly do step ups or maybe lunges. For some reason lunges hurt me. If I worked out and I think I’m going to possibly have pain. I immediately ice my back . I put ice in a ziplock bag and put it on my l4 l5 s1 area. It helps me.
Plz do a video on deep squat. Thanks
Tq Will I try that hope it help me .I can't squat on my rt foot pain at the back of my calf
..tq
Excellent video my problem is arthritis in left hip
I'm pleased my video was useful - wishing you all the very best :)
I just added my email address to your newsletter, Will. Last week someone left that exact yellow band on the railing at the gym and was better at certain exercises then regular bands, where do you buy them?
Hi on the Valgus part, how do you fiix if your knees go out during a squat?
I have a bulged disc and lumbar stenosis (foraminal as well). Can I still do daily body weight squats?
Any exercise to strengthen the knees please.
🤗 Hi !! I am 56 I hv been a climber for a very long time in my life … I want to start again … but maybe because I developed Vericose veins from a lot of standing through out my pregnancy.. my legs feel heavy and lifting up seems to be going down … suggestions too strengthen those muscles?!!!!
I'm 72. My problem is that, although I can squat all right, I can't get back up again! My left knee has always leaned somewhat inward (i.e. I'm knock-kneed), and is now arthritic. I know I'm supposed to squat rather than bend my back to pick things up, etc, but it's just impossible. (I used to dread using French public toilets, which were nearly all 'squatters' at one time!). Please advise.
My son age 26yrs having Loss of Lumbar Lordosis can u guide him by the exercise
Is it bad you have bruise on your knees, why my knee pops when I turn around sometimes..I have stairs at home so ...I walk alot for work janitor
Same exercises without equipment?
How do we know what strength we need in a power band?
You will feel it! If you can do the movement many times without tiring, then it’s too light. If you really struggle or can’t do the same exercise more than 5 times it’s too heavy. Most bands come in kits with a range of tension so you can adjust. Try b4 u buy, or do an easy return. I think the range of motion and precision of the exercise (body weight/ technique) is more important though.
Really informative thankyou - one question, is the leg extension machine a useful exercise to include in a leg training routine. Thanks
❤ for the algorithm
I'm curious to know why you chose not to do the ankle exercise using your "bad" ankle? Wouldn't it benefit you, too?
Suspect he did the demonstration with the ankle that we can see.
Knowing your limitations. RUclips is a side hustle, I imagine after a long day of work, perhaps he doesn't want to overwork that ankle.
I wish I could squat. Years of obesity has left me with bone on bone osteoarthritis, I was born with deviated knee caps (they are not central) so causing my hips to be affected. At 65 I've lost 12 stones in weight, but despite being able to place my hands flat on the floor, keeping my knees straight. I JUST CANNOT SQUAT. :(
9:11 I can't breath! It's an overwhelming vision!
Uh oh. I always thought it was unsafe to have your knees go over your toes while squatting. I thought they had to be back a bit. How did i get this wrong 😞
So did I - so confusing!
❤️💖🙏💖❤️
66 been squatting safely for years .
Your gluttes 😗😗😗😙😙😙😚😚
It's hard to see your ankles and how your bending/positioning your feet when you're wearing socks.
Ya Will surely by now you know the crowd wants you naked 😊 !
I am not sure what you mean. I am seeing his feet and ankles and techniques just fine. Have you thought about possibly increasing the size of the screen, upon which you are watching his program? Good luck!
I see it fine. Perhaps, zoom in?
I don't think it's the socks. You need to have a chat with the cinematographer. The angles and the cutoff portions of the image in the dorsiflexion testing phase make this possibly your worst video. Sorry to be so harsh. The exercise portion is better. It's a bit cut off in the adductor exercise, too. The spine portion isn't great either.
🙄 ALWAYS has to be that ONE person
I'm pretty sure he's videoing himself with camera on tripod or such! True story, my husband did a vid, once he stopped recording (outside batching a bitter, he's even got a still) he realized his phone had been put in backwards! 😅
Yeah for someone not telling people to not go knees over toes.
If the ankle still doesn't cooperate, elevate the heels. Get down there!!!
And partial range step downs. Yes to ATG!!!
#Kneesovertoesguy
Thank you
You're welcome!
