This video contains fun and interesting snacks and appetizers that go wonderfully well with chai, tea, coffee or simply as a starter. I made samosas in bulk in a fun and easy way to serve to my guests along with hot tea in this winter cold month. The day went by quite randomly so I added some cleaning and organizing of the bedroom as well. While juggling between bedroom and kitchen I managed to finish up all the arrangements for our guests and also whipped up some amazing snacks for the evening along with for the days to come. Check out this fun filled day with me in this video.
Samosa Recipe
*For Dough of samosa*
Maida/ Flour - 2 Cups
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp
Oil - 5tbsp
Salt - 1tsp
Water - 1/2 cup + 2tbsp
*For the spices*
In a mortar pestle
- Saunf/Fennel seeds - 1/2tsp - crush coarsely first
Amchoor Powder/Mango Powder - 1tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
Dhaniya/Coriander Powder - 1.5 tsp
Lal mirch/red chilli Powder - 3/4 tsp
Kasuri Methi - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/2 to 3/4 tsp

Hi Bharti.. I think the wooden bowl that you were talking about is from IKEA. It’s available in two sizes. This is the small one, there is also a bigger one. If you don’t have IKEA in your city, maybe you can check out Amazon as they also sometimes keep IKEA products.
question: did you freeze the samosas right after you filled the potato filling or you half fried them first? also if you could share how you freeze them.
Hey Prachi..so you can actually do both..freeze them right after shaping and filling or you can freeze them after the first fry. I did it after the first fry. Then I directly put them in the oven and that not only reheats the samosa but also cooks the last bit that was pending from the first fry..I hope I managed to explain it to you
