Thank you so much for making it so learning friendly. My question is I know you say make it as long as you want but it would help me if i had a guide. I am not good at guessing. How many rows did you do for each section? from there i can see what i need. I have been looking for a long mitten. so many of them only go to the wrist. thank you so very much.

I started a new pair on the next size up loom, however, I realized shortly on that it would be way too big. What do I do to make a bigger size? Is it the yarn I’m using? Help!!! :)

I made this for my husband *yes I'm on my son's youtube. I will say the thumb is not wide enough for his hand and he is skinny. So pretty much this is a good mitten but you really need to make it by trying it on the person who will wear it like you would clothes. For the palm of the hand before you get to the thumb I made 18 rows. Next, for the thumb itself, I would say you can possibly line the persons thumb up against the pegs on your loom and multiply number of pegs by 3 to get how many pegs to stitch across by. For the length of the thumb as far as how many stitches you should make for me as a woman I made 40 rows and then checked by putting my thumb inside. Again you will have to check out the width and length of the thumb or you will be making this mitten for nothing. Then for the rest of the way up the hand. I lost count but definatly more then 20 rows. I would say 4 times around makes about an inch.
