The antenna is in the worst possible spot if you want to upgrade the esc to a 160amp!
Not a very well thought out design!
Ended up not using the antenna because you can’t hook it up!
Can i use 11.1V 5000mAh 3S 100C Smart Hardcase LiPo Battery: IC5 on this boat? Having trouble connecting the battery and was told it was fine.
Just wanted to add its for the 2021 model. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Yes Jack, the V1 (2021) model utilizes an EC5 connector (its blue), the IC5 (its orange) connector on your battery is backwards compatible and will function just fine the boat. The plug might be a little tight at first but will loosen up after some use.
On off switch broke after two weeks, sad.😓

Yeah same happened to mine, just cut the power wires and join them, power will always be on when batteries are connected.

It stays on and doesn't switch off when I press the button.
It's not really a problem but I do worry it might shut off in the middle of a lake.
