Would like to clear up some wording from the video as it isn't very clear, ROLVE did not make csgo or team fortress 2 they were made by valve who owns steam. ROLVE just remade these games and imported them over into roblox. Just some misunderstanding for some people.
I think one of the reasons of the decline of arsenal was that people forgot about it, but this didnt happen only to arsenal, it also affected adopt me, adopt me was the biggest game in 2020 that almost every week it crashed roblox of how many players were online, now in 2023 the game struggles to get past 150k users daily, it is alot, but not compared of what it used to be
used to play very frequently for 2-3 years and i havent touched the game in 5-6 months and im like lvl 550 smth, simply for me i got bored of the repetitiveness and constant cheaters and lack of updates. definitely one of the best games oat tho
The cheating problem has been mostly resolved thanks to byfron and the fact that arsenal now has premium servers, were high ranks can play competitively against other high ranks and receive less cheaters in their matches. However the game is still mostly the same.
I agree. I quit the game for the same reasons as you. I was level 370 at the time, but the updates that came while I was gone were really cool. And then I came back to grind up to level 400.
As long as arsenal is the biggest fps game on roblox, it'll never truly die. To me, 12k players is of course, still more than enough to get good servers with good ping, and to just enjoy the game still.
For me I guess I just gradually stopped playing it over time to the point where I forgot about it... I revisited it today, and I can see why even though I recently got back on Roblox after months I and other people don't play it anymore. The game is dead basically, Sure there's players and all but nobody says anything or does anything unusual. It's just your average game of arsenal, with nobody saying a word. Nobody even says gg anymore. And when I mean nobody says a word, I played for 2 hours in a full server and the entire time the chat was empty except for join and leave messages which happened about two minutes apart. I miss when people would be having conversations, actually choosing good game modes instead of standard over and over again, (that's for some reason the only thing people choose now a days), and I even miss when people would accuse others of hacking compared to this. On top of that, the game has been getting noticeably less frames per second and laggier. I hope the game returns back to how it was 1-2 years ago.
I miss the old days,when tanqr,bandites and many youtuber was playing Arsenal it was a fun time but now its not the same only rainster u and ryan aston play this legendrey game now they play the game i hate the most bBedwars
As long as every other FPS game on Roblox and off of Roblox is exactly as repetitive arsenal will always remain the most popular Roblox FPS for a long time.
Maybe arsenal can regain its popularity in the next summer update which is june 21(not exactly) but till then i dont think arsenal will be regaining popularity
