I think I would prefer a longer spring, with a softer rate, that would need a spring compressor to get installed. This is how Cadillac suspension is.
Ultimately I think there’s too much unsprung weight with hub drive. The ratio (sprung/unsprung) is off the chart. As much as I dislike mid-drive it seems better for a decent ride.
    Excellent video 👏👏

Are you in the NYC area. So here is my thing, I live and ride around the city. I am a pretty big guy. The only issue that I am having is that the rear suspension is squeaking every time i hit small bumps. Sort of like a bed rocking squeak. So I am not sure how I should adjust them to reduce squeak. I am assuming it has to do with the rebound being shorter. However, wouldn’t me making the suspension stiffer be a problem if I don’t let it breathe and being a bigger guy, causing the suspension to damage. Any suggestions you have would help. Thanks!

Im not 100% certain that the squeaking is a sign of any damage. If you are heavier then you should definitely tighten it up so you dont bottom out the suspension very much which will definitely cause more wear rather than having them too tight. If it doesnt stop squeaking then take it to a bike shop for a full cleaning of the shocks.

You are confusing sag with compression damping. Sag is set with prelpad and it determines where in its travel the suspension sits. Compression damping determi es the speed of compression and rebound is how fast it returns to its position after a hit.

Those are Doc Martin's! Such great boots! They run large but are the best boots for functionality, durability AND looks!

Same as Jason, I get about 35 good miles on hardly any pedaling at all. In reality you'll want to pedal just to get going a bit faster

I wish I had an answer for you, but it does have a good amount of movement. Ill be trying to get better angles of me riding so you can see the travel in action
