Man, it genuinely warms my heart when I see a project veichle of this type. Me as foreigner not living in the US, you usually do not get to see projects like these. Cars are used up and thrown away to waste away somewhere. Parts are just too difficult to find, talent and knowledge even more. Getting a scrap car and getting it back to life back in its prime and often beyond seems like the American thing ever. God bless you all.
When a person builds and then drives a vehicle , especially like this one, you gotta give him respect and kudos. He deserves it. I despise trailer queens. if you build it then drive it or don't bother building it. Love the fact this is completely useable and capable. What a heck of a 4x4.
Doc, You've done it again I had a 1966 4 door Chevy Caprice, 327/350 hp, that I bought from the manager of a Pa. propane company in 1985. He swore he only had changed out the oil filter, not the oil because it ran so clean. Her only "flaw" was, the ignition caps would crack from the higher temps under the hood. (fixed with a back facing hood scoop) I got lots of funny looks pulling up to propane tanks down the shore, to refill her. lol! She was geared for highway running, so 500 miles, on 2, 100lb bottles, was the norm. As were the $7, or $9 dollar refills back then. lol! Just wish I had never sold her. Stay Well!
2:21 is that Paul Tutle SR.? Very nice Jeepster here for sure. My dad had a Willis panel truck that had a sbc and was sitting on 33”s. Not built for off-road like this one, just a nice 4x4 sitting high.
I saw the man and wondered the same thing.I've wanted a Willy's wagon since I was a kid,but for the last few have looked for panel vans for camping mod.

I love vehicles that run on stuff besides gas and diesel like propane, electric and other stuff
I as well, I have a 78 F-150 4x4 that I converted in the 90's and still drive it. It has been re painted twice along the way.
What a ride. Loves that he uses it
What a clean looking build.Well Done ! Thank you for sharing it with us Dennis.
Awesome
I have old turbo diesel Jeep and it runs great on any type of wasted oils. It saved me tons of money. 🙂
🏆Dennis Gage 🍀you're the man 😎✌️
Haha, awesome!
Is Dennis still active in the car scene or has he retired to the Hamptons 🤔
Yup, still at it. In fact we’re shooting a show today in Tucson for the 28th season. The Hamptons will just have to wait. 🙂

A fifth wheel on back would look great
She's a beaut! I'd be afraid to crawl it though without even a roll bar.
That white W126 did nothing to deserve that indignity.
Came here to say that. Late model coupe I’m gonna be I’ll!!!
@elk101, how come you don't have videos of this thing on your channel?
