Can we all pause for a moment to appreciate the epicness of Lakes mullet! Damn it man!
I would definitely like to see this thing every now and then on the channel :)
👍👍👍👍👍👍
You need to look at the beans they don't look any more good they look like that bad sheep
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The first valve is the vacuum lock off, thats why with holes in the diaphragm you had no gas, it stops the flow of gas should the motor stall. The next piece along the line is the regulator, it regulates the flow according to vacuum. Then lastly is the mixer, its what you loosely call the gas carb. All this stuff looks like Impco gear, the mixer looks like a 425 the biggest Impco made. Impco gear is really reliable . The one thing is to make sure you have good water flow, no water = frozen regulator = no gas. I had an FJ 40 with a 302 ford that was built for LPG and it was great, never missed a beat. Good luck.
i think tat its amazing that you have got that for your friend! you can tell how loyal a friend he is and that is a hard thing 2 find! i wish you and your team all the luck in the world
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Apparently it will start when the preview for the video shows it driving on to a trailer. I know some folks like the previews but I hate them. Just give us the content and let the surprises come naturally.
What you expect from these guys😂
100% I'm the same way just let me be surprised.
Go watch something else
Bro cares way to much
👍👍👍👍👍👍
The name of the rock buggy should be "Hank Hillkiller" since it runs on propane.
......And propane accessories.
😁😁😁😁😁😁
He seems excited. It will be cool to see it back in action on the channel.
The spring thing on the manifold under the carb is used to connect to the carb choke. When the manifold heated it , the choke opened. Nice find !
That could be a really cool rig. Can't wait to see it done. Keep up the great work buddy 👍
Nice find for Mr. Mullet! Would like to see a series of this ol jeep on the channel. Some after hours shenanigans are always a plus.
Nice job Bruce..made him happy.

My family has that same genorator for camping and it’s awesome, aside from that love getting back to will it starts!
I most definitely want to see it on the channel more
more after hours project please! CJ7! SUBED FOR THE CJ!😊
Bruce that front axle is definitely not a Dana44 axle for sure!!!!! It is a Dana 60 front axle for sure!!!! How I no is the outer king pins instead of ball joints and on the passenger side where the leaf springs bolt to the axle there is only one bolt holding the leaf springs to the axle and the other two are bolts that run into the axle housing and on the driver side it has two ubolts holding the axle to the springs!!! One other way you can check to make sure it is a Dana 60 is on the front webbing there will be a F60 and that will definitely confirm that it is a Dana 60 for sure!!! The spot on the webbing where it should say F60 will be on the front bottom right side or driver side of the webbing!!! Those axles are definitely wanted by guys that use Dana 60 for rock crawling or even mud racing!!! I have around 7 of 8 Dana60 front axles and I have guys trying to buy them from me all the time because they are definitely becoming way harder to find for sure and when you do find one they can go for anywhere from 1000.00$ to 2500.00$ just for the front Dana60 axles!!!
I would love to see this cool looking Jeep on the Channel for sure
he fell in love first sight
❤❤❤❤❤❤
BRUCE NEEDS TO DO A VIDEO WITH HAMILTONVILLE FARM.WITH WILLY DO SOME WILL IT START VIDEOS
Found out it ran good within 10 seconds. Great.
Yeah I like to see you do something with that jeep on the channel it would be awesome
Yes we want to see more of this 👍
👍👍👍👍
Best video for a long while get back into off roading boys have fun then trucking in between thanks great guys from UK England
I'd love to see this feature on the channel!
Great to see lake so happy. 😊
In the 90s, I had an issued police Crown Victoria that was converted to run on either propane or gasoline. The propane was not as efficient because the pistons had the wrong compression, but it still had a long range.
The twin stick allows you to do front or rear digs.
Will it start..?
2 secs of video : Yep !
Would love to see more of this jeep
Can't believe Jared sold it. Just ask him couple weeks about it. Been after it for years.
@Lake please do a channel that we can see this project on
What is up Bruce.........I say you sink $5000 into it for him .....good content for channel .....every ones a winner.........love from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Haha hearing Ryan sneezing at the end of the video. This is the first year my allergies didn't really bother me.band I was down in Arkansas for a month getting tore up by chiggers...now I'm back in Michigan and the cottonwood is snowing thick. And I'm pretty good. Haven't even turn the air on yet. 2marrow tho cause it's about to be 100 for the next 2 weeks
Hell yeah we want to see it on a channel we don't come this far. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LEAVE US HANGING OUT ARE YOU?
Cool old rock climber you guys found.
With those big balloons I wonder if it would float. Probably not, but fun to imagine.
That mullet was looking like a kid in a candy store
When I was in Thailand I was amazed that literally half the vehicles ran on propane or LPG..even huge semis carry like 8 big tanks
lake needs his own youtube channel
He has one its lake_hooks
That’s my dream build
Hi Bruce all the way from Yorkshire England i have been watching for a little while i use to drive trucks for about 25 years what got you in to European trucks love the will it start video and mechanic videos on your scania trucks
That cj7 jeep sounds awesome with v8 engine power 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
That Jeep Rock Crawler is pretty cool. I had a 355 Rocket in my 66 Chevelle. It was bad to the bone and I never lost a drag race with it and I outran a cop with it one night also.🙂😀😃👍
Now this is some content that is worth watching on this channel instead of it being constantly about semi trucks
Well so much for this machine. Little does he know everything Bruce buys he just tears apart and then leaves it.
id love to see more of the Project Afterhours. like to see what he does to it from time to time.
I had a old cop car that ran on propane that stuff burns so hot and clean the oil looks like new when you change it. I still have the valve and everything including a rebuild kit to turn any old carburetor or throttle body car to propane because I ended up switching to gas after a while because the tank and lines needed to be inspected and instead of that I just turned it to run on gasoline instead but I still have everything
never seen a reaction so priceless
The trans fluid is backing out the fill tube because the vent on top the trans is plugged up and cant release the pressure its a trail rig proly full of mud or dirt.
The one on top is the LPG converter and yes needs water to keep it from freezing
Not sure if anybody has mentioned this yet or not and I know it's a small feature. I just wanted to say the little spring loaded lever on the right side of the engine right beside the carburetor, is for the choke it's activated by heat from the engine in an open and close
Wish I was there , 50+ years on forklifts, propane, diesel , electric and gas .
This is a project I love!
Having built every every kind of propane powered vehicle you can imagine, watching the "monkeys with the football" was hilarious.
Exactly!! He’s an idiot the guy is a complete joke
👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's when Bruce does anything
Sure throw us a video on this unit just to give us something different to watch id like to see how much polish it take to make this turd trailable
I'd leave the 350 in it but go back to gas with a holley fuel injection. Rewire the whole thing, basic maintenance, and that's it. If the tires are dry rotted then swamper boggers. There's no need for an ls swap. That engine has more than enough power for a rig that small. Just drive it and have fun.
That’s a Dana 60 front boys. This things pretty wild
I have worked on trucks that are converted to propane. Propane makes less horse power than gas. The real problem with propane is it has no smell so they add another gas to it to make it smell like rotten eggs. That gas will gum up your valves and they will not seat then the motor won't start and when it does it wont run smooth. The way to keep that from happening is to run some high octane gas threw the motor every 5000 miles and burn the gunk off of the valves. cool Jeep
ohh yeah put some semi parts on it like a set of horns and a side exhaust.
If I remember right bruce, you did a will it start on that old 1964 international fire truck with that industrial international gasoline engine. I believe it was a 304 CI
I already knew the outcome from your opening preview. How about we cut that out... just open with (welcome back, I'm Jerry, this is Tom) we gonna see if we can make this run.
Very cool jeep, fix it up 👍👍
I’d like to watch this build to wheeling let’s gooooo
Yall should put a 4bt or a 2.8L cummins in it. But whatever you do it definitely needs a set of 40s and some dana 60s and a magnum reduction box on the front of the 205 transfer case so you have some real low gears to crawl with. After yall have some fun with it you should definitely put coil overs or ORIs and dual triangulation 4 link from t and rear
You guys are a crazy bunch of chaotics maniacs. Yes I want to see what becomes of it. make it a on chanel project.
Funny how mullet man went from construction to RUclips
Definitely been sitting longer than 3 yrs dude here at my work showed me pictures from 2017 and said he believes that was last ride it every went on
Heelllyyaa give lake an outlet !!😎👍🏻🇺🇸🦅
Look like good mud toy
That thing is bad ass.
Check the vent tube at the top of the tranny ,seems its stopped up, not venting creating a pressurized system,or the pump itself is pulling air from outside mixing it in the fluid , frothing effect, good luck guys,i owned a black scrambler thzt had rusted back half and 38s
Awesome will start video 🤘
at @37:20 i was hopin you throw it in the steel container... ;D
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Not ole halfway! Bringing back ole AHD vibes
Great job Bruce
You work on a propane fueled vehicle carry a large peace of inner tube to repair the vacuum diaphram
Just bypass the vacuum switch , turn on the LPG tank as the engine is starting , in the future replace the vacuum switch with a electric valve switch , cheaper and always reliable!
It has a dodge or gm king pin axle in the front since it doesn't have ball joints.
Dude if u havent had that jerky you are missing out lol and i agree on the cage. If u cant grab it from the top then how is it gonma help you if it rolls. 👍
Yes, the thing is cool
33:35 the moment you realise the trailer had a mark on it that you was'nt aware of
Awesome video
Once he gets that buggy running, I would like to see him go over to Blake's and do a burn out with it when he gets it.Look in real nice
Hi Bruce
lot of folks convert their cars to propane/LPG in europe, and some manufacturers offer it as an option when you're buying new.
It's also a must if you imported one of those big ol' shitrod V8 from america since it's less than half the cost of gasoline.
I've also seen a diesel semi converted to LPG as well. It ran a mixture of 1202 and propane. The guy said the fuel savings are minimal (less than 10%) he has like 30%+ more power for free and it's a lot cleaner burning so his DPF hardly needs maintenance.
The names lake, but my hair flows like a river 😂
Sunday video's jeep progress would be cool
