There is a $16 tower cooler on Amazon that fits these Victus and Pavilion gaming PCs very well and does a good job and lower the CPU temps quite a bit. Also, a 92mm fan on the side, mounted to the black metal grid inside the PC really helps to bring in some fresh air to keep things a bit cooler. I did both of those mods to my Victus, and added a RX 6600 XT (yes it works just fine with the Ryzen 5 5600G and the 350W PSU! 248W max power draw) and this PC is a great machine now! I only paid $165 for the PC (open, in box) and $60 for the GPU as well, so it was a heck of a price to performance deal.
Got mine for 600 CAD, which is roughly 440 USD. This intel gpu is a hidden gem - I've seen drastic improvements in performance every time the new drivers rolled out. Great for someone looking for a small power efficient pc with light gaming.
considering A380s are hard to find and typically sell for 150$ alone. this PC is pretty good! Id still rather get a console at this price point, but if your trying to play specifically PC games its worth.
no going to lie low key love that case, i want to buy the arc cards because we need more competition i think i would probably still go 1660 super version but its a good rig for the money. Okay if your watching from the UK bad news just checked the same rig with 8gm of ram is 749 pounds or about 800 US dollars suffice to say this is no way a good deal an you would be better building yourself or even going with AWD, Punch Technology or even Scan pre built.

I wonder if Resize-bar was enable or not in these benchmarks. It makes also a big difference. 🙂 I've tested the A380 in newer games and a lot of the times it takes more than the 6GB of Vram.
I have a HP TG01-0023w (R5-3600, gtx 1650 super), there is no option in the bios to enable resize-bar or decode above 4G. I think the more expensive HP Omens have the options, but not the smaller cheaper HPs.

Im really liking the intel gpus we need mor competition to drive down prices i think the A750 is one of the best buys right now and am planning a mini itx build using one.
I'm not a pre-build guy but I quite like the simple unfussy designs HP comes up with, they seem to go for the clean uncluttered look with fairly tasteful lighting which I personally prefer.
From my experience HP lies about the power supply when I confronted them about it the canceled my warranty plus the thing BSODs all the time or black screen restarts please go look at Gamer Nexus review and avoid this PC like the plague
My brother I heard some good things about the card but from my own experience get a rx 6600 xt or 6700xt or the non xt variants. They've been stable as hell for me playing games I want in 1080p high settings and plus equation has been great as well. If you wanna go for it there not a bad investment especially in the long run but wait for Intel next gen graphics card.

You can definitely do a cpu upgrade on these hp gaming lines, omen 30l for example if you have the 5800x omen 30l you can put in a 5900x and it will work. but thats as far as that one will support for example
I’m trying to understand what you’re talking about but can’t seem too. 5800x and 5900x have the same tdp. You should be able to put any Ryzen 3000 series 4000 or 5000 on that board and it work. Might need a bios update. Only way I could see it possibly not is if it’s a proprietary board

I tried to change the cpu cooler and now the Pc won't start again. I did some troubleshooting but you can't get any info because HP always customizes their garbage. I destroyed it after 2 weeks...
A 4060ti is a 150-160W card, if that helps. Don't put a store in the efficiency grading it has nothing to do with power output of the PSU but indicates how much the PSU draws to supply the output to the components in DC, higher the rating the lower the draw, though it's only by tiny amounts in the scheme of things.

Get a 6650 txt instead. I have the same idea as you and I also have a complete build in my pcbuilder. The 6650xt has the same price as the 6600xt (in my country) and is the best value for money gpu
I bought the RX5 5500 which is a 5600g with non-function GPU cores to upgrade my R7 1700 with, it's partnered with the 2060Super I was already using which is basically a 6600 with some occasionally usable RT stuff and Tensor core witchcraft. It's a pretty well balanced system for 1080P gaming on new stuff and some higher res and/or high FPS gaming on older to old stuff. The CPU part of the 5600g is surprisingly fast IMO, my 6 core 5500 is a much better gaming chip than my old 8 core.
OEM junk! Good in putting a decent video card or upgrading the cpu due to the complete lack of bios support. There are HP owners who can't upgrade their Ryzen 3600 to 5000 series cpu's simply because HP wants to sell you a new pc!

@@Clawson12g well since that Cpu is only 65w up to a rx 6700 xt or RTX 3070 TI and 40 series is even more power efficient so Rtx 4070 ti easy which is an 8 pin. I have one of the older hp pavilions as a second PC and It only has a 450w power supply it has a RTX 2060 Super in it. No problems. I don't know about the power supply. Dont know what they are using now. but mine is 80+ platinum. So they can handle a load.
So to any poor soul, that still considers buying pre-builds from HP, Dell, and such brands. Firstly: I feel sorry for you and please read, do consider, that this channel has to make money, and abide by some agreements with their suppliers on what they can say and not. 1. regardless of the pricing seeming low (even if 600 ain't that low) the price is still inflated when you compare the price of the actual parts. 2. your REAL expendability comes from being able to upgrade the CPU to something better of the 12th gen, and if you're lucky 13th gen, depending on mobo support, meaning that it offers the same cpu upgradeability as everything else, same with the GPU, well, depending, you will have to check that PSU, because it might need a swap, but also, judging from the lack of many features on that mobo, more demanding CPU's might not function properly, due to low power delivery and or absent cooling over the power delivery parts. 3. The case, is literally what alienware / dell does, takes a case from 1900's and puts either plastic over it or paint to make it look more nice, but doesn't change the fact, it's a case from 1900's. 4. If you want to change motherboard to get a better cpu, or jump over to AMD, you WILL HAVE TO change THE WHOLE CASE. 5. Also, airflow on the case, it's horrible, for the love of god, if you have more power hungry parts, make sure to either have some magical unicorns helping you cool your parts, or have a fire extinguisher ready. 6. Not only does that mobo look it's from the stoneage, everything about it seems lacking severely, in everything. So while yes, if you don't know any better, this pc is amazing, but if you are an average user, do stay away from it like the plague, I hope this helps some poor unfortunate souls to avoid this crap. Though personally, I wonder if its Legacy bios, or they magiked some UEFI bios in there, but judging from the MOBO, that seems not a standard form factor, that you will be dissapointed.
I'm really hopeful for the future of Intel's cards, this is their first try and it's actually not bad with continued driver updates. I'm tired of Nvidia's bull crap, and while AMD are somewhat better another competitor in the gpu market, couldn't hurt at all. I'm watching Intel closely and I think, my next card will certainly not be Nvidia, as good as their cards are. How they treat board partners, rip EVGA graphics cards and their wonderful customer service. Their price hike at a time which for most people, is not a great time. post pandemic, war in Ukraine, threat of possible global war, looming recession, high inflation and many people struggling to get the basics. It was a bad move for Nvidia but they have a history, of making some really poor decisions. And I think they have gotten too comfortable, believing customers will put up and shut up. So if Intel with their next cards, Alchemist and I forget the other one. Can really improve on the Arc and keep pushing, I think gaming could start to do better for hardware particularly graphics cards.

I got the iCore 5 12 gen version at Sam’s Club with a 3050 for $350. Upgraded the ram to 33 GB will add additional cooling fans.
you can get a 6GB A380 for $99 these days, they're great for budget builds or workstation type PCs

Rx6600 would be the best choice for the 500W option. It's $200ish and the performance is very similar to a 3060
500 watt would give you a lot more head room heck if you wanted to stay with Intel that should be good for the a770 and that's a fantastic GPU

Should use an Nvidia and use Nvenc. 2 PCs for streaming is so old school now.
