Using the deathblight death flare glitch is pretty good if you use it on the magma blade. The unique skill with the ailment build up is crazy good. Desent way to get ride of hackers that aren't immune to death blight.

@HiImHavoc That's a good question. I guess it's situational. It's easier to pull off when you have a co-invader. It's worked perfectly well for others and me in certain situations. But sometimes they cheat so badly that nothing seems to work right.

The giant hunt was working until he increased his poise by swapping his armor. In that small of a space, the great sword of damnation really works especially if you have high damage. It’s an easy catch and spam.

Alright so I’ve seen the closed doors thing a few times now in Steel’s vids. Can someone please tell me how they’re closed? Like is there a way for you to close them back up as a host, or is there some sort of teleport into the room just before Messmer option, or is it just another cheat to load yourself in there/hack the doors closed?
I'm guessing they teleport to the grace in offline mode (with cheats), unlock it and then just teleport inside without ever needing to open the door even in online mode. Fromsoft doesn't have any sanity checks that prevent this, they just check if you are currently cheating/have unobtainable items, not if your map isn't how it's supposed to be.

@@shallowglaive7892 Closed doors are not necessarily a sign of cheating, in my personal case my builds are created legitimately with an SE variant in order to avoid boring crafting but also to unlock all the grace sites in order to invade easily and quickly when I create a new build. Except that here, this guy voluntarily attracts invaders in this portion of the game. Which is not my case since I am essentially an invader. I never attract anyone into my world.

@@shallowglaive7892 you can recover legitimate saves with 10 builds having all the consumables of the game possible in order to save precious time. when you have finished the game several times since its release you no longer want to redo the whole game, especially with the release of the DLC. In short, you just have to convert this save file to your own PSN ID. No need to stupidly invest 50 € in a cheat editor for that either. There are free methods. I think Steel has already made a video on this subject.
I have to agree somewhat that the meta will turn out for sorcery builds. You become a real threat from a distance and the constant spam from the enemy means you get a somewhat even playing field
For invasions I think Sorcery builds are just better. You just have access to so many bs AOE attacks that have no counterplay if you use endure. Not like hosts really know are care about doing anything except for spamming
@@thecandyman7807 why would anyone use scholars shield if you have golden retaliation? Either way, you can easily outplay this. And having defense buffs against magic isn't a hard counter. Just like wearing armor + dragoncrest + crab doesn't negate regular weapons.
