    One tip, when clearing the angles(splitting the pie) if you goal is to enter room completely. Do not take forever in doing so because if you do someone might show op from angles you already cleared while you are now in bad spot. Goal here is not to clear every single thing just most common ones and let your reflexes take care of the rest and be swift about moving in and finding better position.

    • @RichyRacoon
      @RichyRacoon Год назад +15

      Yes thats true.
      But sometimes you have new guys (or morons) inside the enemy team whos hiding in "unorthodox cover".
      I remember myself when I started to play R6.
      I tried to play COD in R6 universe. And sometimes the Pro Players I know today gettin nervous when a good aiming Noob walks in. Because the pro hold an angle and he is pretty sure "only a idiot would try to overrun me"
      But a noob or a casual player would do it maybe and it works sometimes if the noob has a good aim. And thats it. There is no major tactic against a guy without a tactic. Or better, you can't fight a moron with the same tactic as a good player.
      So allways think about how stupid your enemy is.

    Knife peaking seems good but, You don't see alot of pros using it, Usally jiggo peaks are the way to go, You Peak line up the shot and pre fire it, Where as knife peaking you know they are there from the shots but could be holding many different angles and not seeing them is alot of information missing, I feel like jiggo peaks are more consistent being used the most and never saw this technique until this video.

    • @alyttleton

    Idk how i feel about this video, some points are ok but some points like the third and fourth advice will just get you killed by someone who is holding an off angle, knife peeking isn’t useful at all, you expose yourself to get naded or flashed or just get peeked while knifing, you gain nothing from it

    • @alyttleton
      @alyttleton  2 года назад

      Knife peeking works really well. Nobody can react to shooting a wrist on 40 ping. And even if they do it's far safer taking one shot of damage to your wrist than face checking it and getting headshot.

    Oh yeah pie-ing the room is something I've learnt from an anti-terrorist police officer on a military training couple of years ago. He called it slicing a cake. It made a lot of sense how you phrased it, no worries ;)

    alyttleton you have done it again, the knowledge you share is very helpful. Keep on doing you, great work bro.
    Also I thought I’d share, it’s important to know your surroundings and enemies potential moves. The reason being is, because you or your enemies can possibly create new angles through soft walls, floors and other destructible objects.
    But don’t over do it, sometimes making a new line of sight can jeopardize your chances of winning a gun fight.
    And what I mean by knowing your enemies potential moves is, knowing if they may have explosive utilities that can be used to make a new line of sight to so they can hold a angle on, or even just use it as a distraction.
    There’s much more I could explain, but I hope this piece information can help someone. Peace ✌️

    I am reinstalling the game, I sucked when I last started playing but this is incredibly informal. I wish I knew this before, You made it easy to understand even if you didn't think you did.
    edit: I've been pie'ing the room without even being able to put it into words. I think it's important to be able to understand what you're doing and explain it.

    You are SO good at explaining! Because you do it from the heart. So many people are like "Watch how I do it because I'm fckn flawless and superior" and you acutally care about explaining it so people understand. And there's no problem in not finding the right words immediately. I feel very well educated in peeking right now. Thank you!

    I always did pieing the room but I probably don't always do it properly due to lack of map knowledge of certain maps. The keeping the distance from an angle is new and I may have done it before subconciously but now i'll try to actively keep myself away from angles instead of right up on them. Never knew that knife melee trick since from your perspective it seems like theres no depth to the melee even tho in game you melee people who are like a whole operator away in distance. I'm also a frequent scanner in the sense that I scan the room instead of having the crosshairs lined up with the angles when I peak them so i'll try to avoid that from now on. Thank you!
