This is well needed video for people interested in learning siege a bit deeper. What would have been cool is if you played each sound at a certain distance to hear the difference, but maybe you can save the for an ultimate guide type video. None the less, really cool video.

The slow rappel I sometimes hear like when I’m dead and spectating my teammate there’s a glitch where u hear it and it sounds like someone being hung from a rope 💀😭 it creeps me tf out

I’ve always wondered what the source of the Kapkan noise was, I had no idea his gadgets were the source 😅

I could hear them spamming aiming and unaiming down sights
The replay looked so sus too (if you watched it without sound) cause I practically snapped to the source of the sound and just started blasting my shotgun
I like that your various movements as a player make significant sounds. Your equipment will shift a lot if you prone, your gun will clickity clack when you go from neutral to couched in your shoulder, your equipment load will make you thump along harder or softer, and R6 reflects that nicely.
This is great the problem is though this is in isolation and you will be hearing a great deal of other sounds at the same time
Yup that's right. That's why I always say, focus on different sound cues at the same time

THORN RAZORBLOOM IN PASSIVE POSITION MAKES SOUND LIKE KAPKAN, FNATT HAVE OFF/ON SOUND, JAMMED DEVICES HAVE SOUND, A LITTLE HOLE IN CEILING/WALL CAN TRANSLATE TO YOU SOUNDS MORE LOUD, C4 MAKES MORE BIP BIP WHEN SOMEONE IS CLOSE TO C4
that's what u need to know, too. This game has many more mechanics that u don't know, guys. Learn more tips and features with ur friends in custom lobby!

im really good with sound cues and ive been playing kapkan a LOT. needless to say ive heard the boomba sound cue but i genuinely never connected the dots that its them doing the sound. genuinely insanely well put together video, super informative!

the fake drop is softer than the real drop
The guy at the Kapkan trap needs to be quiet but this is very informational. I think one of the hardest things to hear is the Kapkan trap so far but I guess there is a small window where he's quiet.

I’m usually pretty good at learning sounds. This game is definitely one of the hardest. I still find it hard to distinguish a sound that is above/below or on the same level. Its frustrating, I just need more practice but definitely give more respect to people that have it mastered

There is this one sound cue that can be helpful is if you clear a room with a flash you can hear the operator grunt and you can swing off that knowing they are fully blind

Wow, I didn't realize just how much noise I made moving around, let alone leaning and ads'ing. You should make a short video investigating whether 1, 2 and 3 speeds sound different!
Apart from this video, I want to share my thoughts.
Sometimes we know all the tricks, tips and sounds everything. But in a low elo, you forgot all in a gunfight.
In a low elo I think we just play like go with flow, don't think from the brain, maybe we dive in the game too deep. But in high elo I think they play with their brains and playing like game game.
I don't know if I made the point or not, but yah I just wanted to share my thoughts.

One sound effect i recently noticed is that plants (at least on bank) make a sound when you walk into them
Most of them are really distinct and easy to memorize, just wish teammate sound cues were quieter. I find myself getting spooked by my own squad walking up behind me sometimes.

C4 rip is the most important because it is the 1# sound cue that will tell you to retreat

You should do a "What's that P*kemon" but with sounds instead where viewers have to guess what sound it is before it is revealed. For example, like in this video, instead of having the name of the sound at the top, wait a few seconds and then have it pop up when the source of the sound comes into view. It'd be a good vid.

does it take a lot of time to learn sound cues? Because i have about 200 hours on seige and i have a hard time hearing sound cues still. will my knowledge sharped or are my ears just cooked
It takes quite a time, my advice is to also improve your hearing skill. When you are in game, Don't get tunnel focused on 1 thing cause you might miss sound cues

I havebno problem distinguishing what the sounds are. But the direction in which the sounds are coming from is the real issue. Every other fps game i play i can tell the exact location. But this game, none of it makes sense. Earlier i was playing and there was 2 of us left. I heard a guy right behind me so i turn around and turns out hevwas 30 ft in the other dircetion. Its insane how bad the directional sound is in this game

Just play nightmode and have a good headset.
My headset is hyperx cloud 2. And a lot of times people miss audio cues. It's not cause game is buggy(it is but not always)

Cause in game there are 5 different sound cues at the same time so you can't focus on all of them or specific one
@@SINOOS-R6 no setting to make it better to differentiate or atleast not only be able to hear gun shots explosions cause that’s all I hear 🤣 if it anything else I don’t hear it.
@fluffyjash1327 the only setting you have to play with is nightmode. Other than you gotta isolate sound. Listen to crouch walking ash instead of 2 3 different sounds around you. It's a skill

You gotta get out of tunnel zone area. You are focusing on gunfights and you miss other sounds around you. I suggest writing down before game that: I HAVE TO FOCUS ON 4 5 DIFFERENT THINGS AT THE SAME TIME.
other than that play night mode and have sound high

Hey bro. You just put sound settings on night mode and adjust the volume of game and windows however you like. I use hyperx cloud 2 which is one of the best and pro players use it

How do you fake drop sound? Also we need a updated version of the barbed wire sound. The kapkan bascially makes a ticking sound to me.
You go slightly close to dropping and then you don't drop

But how do you know if someone is behind, in front, up stairs or downstairs? I feel like thats when the sounds get tricky.

the sound must be broken bro I can hear loud and clear someone getting on and off cams and twisting but I can't hear a 1 speed or shield operators sprinting right at me

The only sound cue that matters now:
"Enemy operator detected outside"
This means you are most likely playing against a cheater, and you will find out in the next 10 seconds if they are indeed cheating or not.

I have no idea. Other people asked me the same thing but I haven't seen or done the option to make it thinner. There is only opacity which you can make the color less visible
