I just started playing again a week ago, and I have yet to have my team be better than the opponents statistically(using overwolf). In silver consistently playing plats and golds that are former emeralds and diamonds, none of which ever are on my team. Worst game so far our teams average k/d was .6 with 3 coppers and 2 silvers, playing against their 1.0 average with 2 golds, a plat, a silver, and a copper

For the newer players trying to learn map angles dont try and memorize everything it's impossible without having experience to back it up. It'll take time and come naturally as you play with better players and see which angles to hold more than others. Don't get discouraged as it is one of the hardest parts to learn for this game. It'll come with time and more frequent ranked game plays.
I do appreciate how he showed his faults like in tip #4, explaining how it can be done on both ends and someone calling him out in a positive manner to get better
One of the biggest things in the way of consistency is smurfs. The difference of playstyles and the skill level between average rank to high rank is insane. You can go against legit low levels/equal ranks and the diamond-emerald on a new account trying their hardest like theres money on the line. Then you go against 2 people who both repel skylight on bank even though they know you're looking at it.
I think inconsistency shouldnt be viewed as bad then good kd because between games youre not always going to be playing a frag role. Some games you play more passive and support focused and still provide the team a lot of help even if you go 0-5. Inconsistency should really be widened to not just kills but to losing games
The fact that supports have negative kd is bullshit, supports play less aggressive and die less. You can also notice it by looking at the stats in competitive, while fraggers have a maximum of 1,4 Kd, some supports even reach 2 of kd
The biggest issue I notice is literally just luck. Sometimes I beat people in the luck battle and swing them when they aren’t looking and it can be a whole game of that. Next game I can get literally wallbanged every round. One game it’s like going against people who haven’t touched the game before the next I’m going against Canadian in his prime

My past 8 ranked matches has been 2 - 10 kills but lost every game since either my team has the combines iq of 30, enough to open a door. Or the enemies are champs who smurfing or boosting their friends
Matchmaking and the maps you play on make quite a difference, same goes for ping. I've literally watched kill cams where I've never seen a player yet on their screen in the killcam they fully pushed out of a doorway and spotted me. I'm not sure if that's a ping issue or if its them playing with scuffed graphical settings. As a solo player there are plenty of maps you never wish to see because you always end up with teammates who don't know how to play certain sites
Warden is good for a lot of things if you anchor on obj play him how he’s meant to be played and use you glasses before every fight and you deny them from getting into obj
I started in Operation health, But I played off and on, Recently been playing daily again and I use to be able to Hear the slightest sound, I have this clip saved from 5 years ago of me with 1 HP and I was holding an angle because I heard a Cav sneaking around behind me, I then proceeded to kill Cav and then Immediately blew up my Breach on a Castle door and killed the Castle behind it
Keep in mind, most of the time you are not the one who's inconsistent. Besides ranked, quickplay and standard doesnt have any matchmaking preference so players range from very low to very high skilled. Its impossible to be consistent in these conditions. Just play ranked.
about what you said there is no main operator. in ranked ofc but when you look closer which op you play most thats the "main" what other use to compare yourself with any player in tournaments or leagues

Siege is about basics. You do the quick peeks, checking angles, positioning and other things right and you are 80% playing good. Most of the players forget 1 or 2 things like this and die. 1 map they are good because they know all the angles and 1 map they are terrible cause they don't know it. So it all goes back to basics
I know that i am at my limit in gold, but i don't mind: i will not break my controller just to do quick peaks, i will not low my sensitivity to get good aim because in some situation it has to be high, (short range fights) i just play for the team getting information and i like it. Good clips btw

I don't know if it counts as inconsistency, I'm a solo queue. For most games, it depends with my team. If they're the team player type, yeah usually i would get 6-8 kills per match. If there's rambo in my team, yeah i got 0 kills
Even though that can be understandable but you want to minimize that. Even if your teammates are dumb you have to get their trades and when its 1v5 1v3 you should try to clutch the round
i have troubles hearing and seeing enemies, like, sometimes the enemy is gonna be walking behind me and i think hes infront of me, and also when someone is looking at me from a crazy angle i cant see them i dont even understand where to shoot

So instead of peeking, I should make the angle tighter and just shoot so when valk swings, he goes into my bullets and can't get a kill on me since I'm not exposing myself too much

I can not tell if someone is on top of me or a mile away, above or below me. how did you even know that sound was the guy mantling on top of the bed? I have night mode on which is supposed to make it so you can hear every sound but I can never hear where people are in this game where as in Valorant I can hear one footstep and I know exactly where that person is. Would love a detailed video on this to explain how to hear things better in siege and different sound queues

I’m Copper 1 and everytime I play ranked I get diamonds in my lobby so being consistent is even harder😕 I’ve started using r6 tracker which helps a lot. Doesn’t help that hackers are in the game too😂
Another problem with this is when the more skilled guys keep calling their teammates bad if they are going zero to five when those guys are doing their absolute best to comm and play the team. It’s so annoying cause I try my best to help play as a team, not to get the best KD at the end of every game. I’d rather be playing with the worst guys that try to play the team than play with people who bash others when they aren’t having the best game and this just ruins the consistency of not only mine but other players too.
Last one : Think every step you move. It's a tactical shooting game, So every step u move matter. My friend made a lot of weird move and decision cuz they use too much MUSCLE MEMORY and they just think like "Oh there's an enemy there lets expose myself and have some gun fight" *Proceed to died* and he like to run toward enemy knowing they're there and not ads then will say "Damn my ads is slow". believe it or not he's now 800hr in game and still play like this.
learning how to adapt to all these different kinds of enemies is one of the hardest things to master. Similar to what Sinoos said in the video, you have to pick the right operator for your enemies, but the difficult part is that you also have to pick the right playstyle against them aswell.

My reason for inconsistency is closet-cheaters toggling ESP/Aimbot. There's a TON of people going from god-mode in one round, tracking through walls, hitting one-taps and pre-firing where they should only to turn into crab-walking pepegas the next round. Or they start as crabs and when they start to lose they turn into pro-players lmao.
To answer the question of the title… petition Ubisoft to fix the matchmaker so it dosent rubber band you around when you do well. Because if you do well and notice longer wait times it’s because they are putting you up against better people. Once you inevitably do poorly against those better people you will go back to playing well against people worse than you. This is called Skill Based Matchmaking or SBMM for short
I feel like my inconsistency is just due to my servers. I guess specifically my area has Terrible ping, and I get 110 ping when I should get no more than 45
You can't be consistent in a competitive game unless your playing against the same type of players over and over. Everyone plays different and thinks different you quick peaking can work on some players but others will have better aim and faster reaction time than you. You can see prove from this video, consistency is making the same or similar plays frequently cutting the video after 1 play in a random round to another match isint consistent it's finding good clips. You can improve but it's ranked for a reason.
All of the clips that cut are some highlights that I got and usually I am consistent cause I'm not getting 0 kills in rank games. Sometimes I'm getting a 2k or 1k but why would i show that? So i use those on my talking points. Plus there are already so many players who are consistent in this game. Just cause you cant do it doesn't mean other cant as well. You have to be able to switch your playstyle all the time against different players. That's exactly what I said in the video.

Yes because in game there are 4 5 different sound cues and you are focused on the angle, enemy and so many other things. I watch my own clips back and realize i missed sound cues there and there

Get into training, map training and then target drill. Its exactly like t hunt and you can also change maps

I can "quick peek" to the right okay-ish, but peaking left I can only a-d, caus how awkward it is for the fingers. Any1 else have similar problem?

You can't be consistent in a competitive game unless your playing against the same type of players over and over. Everyone plays different and thinks different you quick peaking can work on some players but others will have better aim and faster reaction time than you. You can see prove from this video, consistency is making the same or similar plays frequently cutting the video after 1 play in a random round to another match isint consistent it's finding good clips. You can improve but it's ranked for a reason.
All of the clips that cut are some highlights that I got and usually I am consistent cause I'm not getting 0 kills in rank games. Sometimes I'm getting a 2k or 1k but why would i show that? So i use those on my talking points. Plus there are already so many players who are consistent in this game. Just cause you cant do it doesn't mean other cant as well. You have to be able to switch your playstyle all the time against different players. That's exactly what I said in the video.

Yes because in game there are 4 5 different sound cues and you are focused on the angle, enemy and so many other things. I watch my own clips back and realize i missed sound cues there and there
Matchmaking is my biggest issue. I’ll go against golds and go 9-0 then vs champs/diamonds and go 3-9. Makes no sense
