    I just watched this, just from my experience. Put lock tite on the bolts on the crank gear sensor and the 10mm bolts on the oil pick up pipe. I have had the 10mm oil pick up pipe bolt back out at the track after doing a rod bearing service.

      Oh shit, haha. I have used locktite nearly everywhere. but i check that stuff more often then i should.

      Glad I came back to this and read your comment.. I worried about this for the oil pickup pipe.. ended up replacing with longer style bolts and nuts combined with split lock or tension washers, torqued at a much higher setting.. and ofc threadlocker lmao.. figured all of this combined would "bulletproof" from backing out. And (not so) good to hear that this actually has happened, def one of my fears!

    How many hour would it take to assemble this engine?
    Pistons,crankshaft,sump, head, timing chain and vanos. All parts are machined, cleaned and ready to go!
    Thank you

      Idk, depends on so many things. Between 10h and a week.

    Hey nice video, just wondering where can I find the paperwork u were using with the instructions or measurements? Thanks

    • @Runliquid

      The only paperwork was from arp and jepistons.

  • @chriscote9270

    Any reason why you ended up doing angle with the arp main bolts? My directions just say set to 60 in 3 stages.

    • @fiatlux4265
      @fiatlux4265 2 года назад

      I think you should be fine, I followed ARP instructions for 3 equal stages to 60 ft lbs :)

      @@Runliquid what’s the compression ratio now

    • @Runliquid
      @Runliquid  Год назад

      @@hansondardignac7049 The JE Piston Ratio is 11,5:1 but the Block and head is planned and the Headgasket is from 0.7mm to 1.2mm thats the biggest change. so it should be lower than stock. maybe 11:1.

      @Runliquid  3 года назад +1

      @@ammaryasser6588 hm, good question. I think you can't get any official stuff. But VAC(vacmotorsports) has 3D scanners and they have built billet blocks, so they should have something that goes in the direction you'r looking for.
