In this video, I will reveal the grading results of my coins that I found either coin roll hunting, through cherry picking junk silver purchases, or have had in my collection - through my submission to PCGS. I hope you enjoyed this video and found it informative. NGC offers a grading for coins you think has been cleaned but will say authentic. With such and such details. I noticed PCGS who doesn't offer this service will sing you a little bit for sending them a coin 9
I meant ding you a little bit for sending them a coin to grade. I used to you both services but I just use NGC now. I even tested it sent one to PCGS that was beautiful a Morgan cc but it had ms details. Got it back upgradable low A.U. DETAILS. Cracked it out sent it to NGC using the special service. It's cheaper to! Got it back untradeable with M.S. details. I use NGC only now. You got a great show watch it all the time.
Coming onto youtube to do research about which scenes have the songs for Cars and I saw this, I was "Eeeeeeh....... I mustn't..... resiiiiiiiist!" Thank you Rob for providing me a good enough thumbnail to cancel my research for now to watch this video lol.
Rob. What is going on lately?? XF Details on the 1858-O?? Such a shame on the Barber half to get docked for the wear it has. That luster and full reverse deserves better! UGH this just gets me stressed out for the 18 MS Morgan's I currently have there in grading! I've yet to see someone get a straight grade on a capped bust half. I am 0-2 so far. Tough run, but it happens. Great to see you end on the MS 65 Buffalo, it's a stunner. Bring on the next!!
Rob, regardless of cleaned or details designation your coins will still increase in value over time. As a plus most people trust PCGS slabbed coin as real as opposed to being fake. It’s kinda like coin insurance for your collection. Was much fun and educational watching the video. Onward fellow!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Great video Rob - even though some of the grades (or non-grades, as it were), were somewhat disappointing, I do agree that these coins are beautiful and deserve to be preserved. Thanks!
I know this is a late comment but that Barber half might be what's called a "cabinet coin". Back in the day, before plastic holders, coins were often stored in felt lined cabinets. These, when disturbed, slightly moved the coin around. Over time, it would diminish the luster and wear he coin down. That coin has an amazing reverse but has a slightly worn down obverse, very consistent with "cabinet wear".
You got some great looking coins here, Rob, details grade or not. Always appreciate the content you put out, brother and I love these unboxing videos. Hope you and Charlani are doing well 👍
Honestly, Rob, you have some really stunning examples, cleaned or not. Values aside, we should collect what we like and what we think looks good to our eye. I have several cleaned coins in my collection, they make some of those REALLY pricey coins attainable to a poor SOB like me. 😂
Man. Normally I'd avoid slabbed details coins, but after seeing those conservative grades, I'm going to reconsider. Potential to get a nice looking bargain. Btw, that capped bust half should have been AU details, for sure.
Man, you cleaned house on this one. J/k. Cleaned or not those are very very nice coins. Personally, I don't give a rats .... if it was cleaned or not if the details are there cuz those coins are freaking gorgeous 😍 🤟💪
Another interesting video, thanks Rob. On another note, you could save some time by using electrical tape on your box labels instead of scribbbling in them. At any rate, entertaining stuff. Thanks!
Still think they raked you over the coles again Rob but appreciate you doing these videos to help us understand the process, this is why I'm too scared to send any of my coins in, thanks again brother 👍
That's so crazy you got a 1938-D Buffalo nickel graded. I just picked one up (my first slabbed coin) from my LCS for $59, and it was an MS66! I really liked the toning on it, almost golden.
PCGS will have values on certain cleaned stabbed coins . My 1879 cc morgan got F damage and they still value it at 285 in my registry. I got slaughtered as well on my recent submission ... but I love the way they look protected
Since a lot of the coins came back with disappointing grades, I recommend that you "de-slab" them and send them to me to put in my Intercept Shield albums (where they will still be protected from corrosion and further toning). Just sayin'!
Fun video, but here is my humble opinion. Just because YOU saw the back of the slab doesn't mean you have to spoil it for US, the viewers. Just say at the beginning that you already saw whether any of the coins were not gradable, and then let US find out on the reveal. It would be a funner video for the viewer. Just my opinion, not trying to insult you, I really like your channel.
@@RobFindsTreasure Thanks for reading and replying. Like I said, I really like your channel, and I enjoy your videos a lot. I like the way you present yourself and your hobby, it's a lot of fun. I know you take care to make sure that we know that everything is aboveboard, and you're not staging anything like some other channels do.
I really enjoy your PGCS unboxing videos! And that was a bummer you had so many that were cleaned... It is so frustrating when you find a sweet old coin and you think it looks incredible - only to have PCGS label it as "cleaned"... I had an 1835 half dollar with a tiny scratch on it - and PCGS wouldn't give it a grade - so I know (somewhat) how you feel.
Rob, You may have answered this question before... Do you ever re-submit slabbed coins? Like you have an NGC, ANACS, or even a PCGS that you don't agree with the grading and hope that they give you a better grade? Great videos BTW. Don't worry about the lighting.
I have thought about it, but have yet to do so. I have a stack of coins I think need to be reconsidered again, but haven't got around to wanting to spend more money on them - yet.
Some beauties regardless. I would much rather have a details high grade example of a coin than that of a beater but not details. I have a few years in my Lincoln cents like 11s in bu details red but I only paid a small amount considering the date and mm
PCGS considers about 80% of any coins not MS details coins. It's like they don't understand circulation causes scratches in silver easily. Circulation causes loss of luster on high points and even low depending on what contacts the coin in its travels. These coins have spent 100-200 years doing God knows what. IMHO they have ruined coin collecting. People can't grade their own coins anymore, prices exploded as people started chasing slabs and stickers over coins. Lastly countless old coins have been deemed junk over someone's opinion. Coins 90/100 collectors would love if they never saw the label. They really suck if you ask me.
Hey Rob have you ever submitted any of your graded coins to CAC? I ask because I have seen a lot of inconsistencies with PCGS grading lately where they over grade, under grade and miss slab coins.
Yeah, I think they ganked you on the one coin. Should have been AU instead of XF and it was noticeably nicer than the other one. Now let's hope PCGS gets a move on with the other two submissions.
Next time if you want to do a live reaction and not spoil the grades for yourself.... Your end of a little package idea was great. But you spoiled your live reaction each time. So seal an empty one and cut it in half and cover the first two coins to show. Show and reveal the first coin, then cover the next coin with the one you just used. Rinse and repeat. Not telling you what to do but you seemed to want to go for a live reaction on video and spoiled yourself just before the clips with the "genuine ungradable".... otherwise just spend more money and get better coins! 🤣🤣 Joking at the end. Great stuff as always and beautiful coins cleaned or not. Thanks for the quality entertainment!
There's no way that 1835 is XF. Coins can be AU even with cleaning. Dare I say it might have been UNC details. Man though even though some of those were not graded, the slab makes them look even better!

@RobFindsTreasure When will you make another metal detecting video??
They're being rough on you with the XF details, Rob! Geesh!
Your submission unboxing videos are my favorite. Love learning about coins. Thanks for posting!

Boom been waiting a long time for this I know! Hope the grades are good!
Nice! Love seeing the results of these. Found a V nickel on Thursday. A worn 1905, but cool to find.
LOVE this series Rob!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and wisdom with us in regards to PCGS submissions, it is greatly appreciated!
The Trade Dollar has roller marks on it - I had a mint state barber Halves with them too -- cool to see!
Big like my friend! Thank you so much for sharing!
Really enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing with us!!
Yes! The PCGS Submission is back! Looking forward for this one!
Yes! The PCGS unboxings are back!
Missed em!
Love it! Even though a bunch were cleaned they are still beautiful and now preserved!
Thanks for allowing us to learn along with you Rob!
Thank You... Stephen
Honestly the unboxing videos are my favorite.
Cool beans, great educational video
PCGS boxing lets go!
Beautiful coins!! I would be happy to have any of them!!
Very educational, like you said. Thanks and congrats on the grades you called...
Awesome video. I wish you would have received the grades you thought some of those coins were. I'm glad you were able to update your collection.
Hope this is a stellar unboxing
Very beautiful coins. I enjoy your videos.
Very good job Rob.

Yes, if you got your order back then hopefully only one more month on mine.
Very nice
Man Rob, those graders were smoking some crack when they graded that barber half. NO WAY!!!!! that's ONLY an AU58!!
Beautiful coins, keep doing what you do.
Awesome old coins Rob thanks for sharing

Woohoo, another PCGS video!
That trade dollar was "erased."
It's still a good looking coin though!
Hey Rob Finds Treasure & To You're Whole Family This Evening
Thank You My Good Bro & Sis Rob Finds Treasure
Rob that $700 Barber is beautiful. Sorry the Liberty Seated coins didn’t grade higher. If it makes you feel better you can just send them to me. 😂
Very Nice Buffalo Nickel you have there Rob.
Love those arrows and rays. Beautiful coin/coins Rob I'm jelly of your collection for sure lol
Great video Rob - even though some of the grades (or non-grades, as it were), were somewhat disappointing, I do agree that these coins are beautiful and deserve to be preserved. Thanks!

Unless it's a obvious cleaning I'd be cautious to put much value in their opinions. They spent time in cloth pockets, of course they have that look.
Great video Rob! Great coins nonetheless!
I really like these videos!

Great video and great info. Thank you RFT !

Reguardless of grades , beautiful coins….
I sent my 1874 gold piece in back in May. Just got it back last week.
Yes a pcgs unboxing
never seen a 53 arrows and rays half that maybe one I have to get for my collection.
That's so crazy you got a 1938-D Buffalo nickel graded. I just picked one up (my first slabbed coin) from my LCS for $59, and it was an MS66! I really liked the toning on it, almost golden.

A couple more for the silver jar then? 😅

I’ve got a few older pieces I still need to submit for grading.
People might start thinking twice about submitting to pcgs
wassup rob les go!!!!
Hello love your video
I really enjoy your PGCS unboxing videos! And that was a bummer you had so many that were cleaned... I had an 1835 half dollar with a tiny scratch on it - and PCGS wouldn't give it a grade - so I know (somewhat) how you feel.
My 1870-CC Seated $ is a details coin, but I don’t care. It’s history is still meaningful, and that is what appeals to me.
I wonder if someone tried to remove chop marks from the trade dollar.
A shame if they did
Hey I found a 1982-p half dollar with no FG, with slight ring of death could it still be Worth anything?
i needed this
Rob, You may have answered this question before...
Oof rough outing, been there.
Some beauties regardless. I would much rather have a details high grade example of a coin than that of a beater but not details. I have a few years in my Lincoln cents like 11s in bu details red but I only paid a small amount considering the date and mm
They sent them back in a gold plated box 😳 I thought only seeker had gold plated everything
PCGS considers about 80% of any coins not MS details coins. It's like they don't understand circulation causes scratches in silver easily. You should cut two or more envelopes so it will always have the one covered behind the first one!!
That way it doesn't spoil it for you or us!
Yeah - that would have been smarter for sure. I'll do better next time.
How can you get your submission back so fast I waited 6 and half months for my coins
dang that 1997 wheat cent is nice
All cool coins. Thanks for not b!tching about the grades. That gets so tiresome. ✌🏻🍻
Hey Rob have you ever submitted any of your graded coins to CAC? I ask because I have seen a lot of inconsistencies with PCGS grading lately where they over grade, under grade and miss slab coins.
Another amazing video! Just out of curiosity do you usually break even with all your submissions, like in total?
@7:25 1911 Barber half dollar you can see the grade. I don’t think he realized that he actually revealed it.
What is the craziest coin you have ever found doing your coin roll hunts?
Yeah, I think they ganked you on the one coin. Should have been AU instead of XF and it was noticeably nicer than the other one. Now let's hope PCGS gets a move on with the other two submissions.
Fewer words Rob. Lol.
Sweet
If you are looking to get cleaned coins encapsulated, why not use ANACS?
Hey Rob, I recently got a 50 dollar binary bill (22020020) its in really good shape what do you think its worth?
Next time if you want to do a live reaction and not spoil the grades for yourself....
Your end of a little package idea was great. But you spoiled your live reaction each time. So seal an empty one and cut it in half and cover the first two coins to show. Show and reveal the first coin, then cover the next coin with the one you just used. Rinse and repeat.
Not telling you what to do but you seemed to want to go for a live reaction on video and spoiled yourself just before the clips with the "genuine ungradable".... otherwise just spend more money and get better coins! 🤣🤣

The cleaned coins that got XF details , that is so unfair , they are more AU details looking
Maybe, if possible, get Charlani to cover up the grades you so you can't see anything before revealing so we can get the live reaction to them.
Hello rob, im back!
how can you tell it is cleaned
Hi
Why have the envelope covering the grade if you are gonna ruin the surprise?
Overall not to bad
