    Was 5 and 1 choose randomly cause if I try find the y intercepts its 2 and 1

      For that 2nd problem, we are revolving the area around the y-axis, so the boundaries of integration have to be the smallest y-value to the largest y-value of the area. The smallest y-value is 1, and the largest y-value is 5. If you look at the picture (8:23), you can see that bottom of the solid is at 1, and the top of the solid is at 5.
