    i love you. you have saved me. for weeks i have strived to understand, wondering--am i just stupid? am i merely a dumb kid in a class full of smart people? but no. the way you explained it... it's enlightening. i feel the folds in my brain morphing to retain all of this. the easy way you taught is literally glued to my mind. i think you deserve at least five billion subscribers. this video is single handedly saving my calc bc grade. thank you. from the bottom of my heart, thank you. is this what people experienced during the enlightenment? during the great awakening? my, even the industrial revolution? i am so thankful i am crying. i am literally crying because i finally understand. thank you, algebros. know you are loved.

    Thank you, Mr. Bean, for all of your help. Our class uses your calculus videos as homework every day, and we really appreciate it. The way you explain topics and the homework problems have been very beneficial to me. Praying for the 5!

    My classmate and I were racing to see who could finish the Calculus AB videos first. I think I won. Just finished 5 minutes ago. I know I'm still not great at Calc so I'm coming back once I master Unit 6 and 7. Thank you for the videos!

    Why am I getting a negative answer? :'///

    • @TheAlgebros
      @TheAlgebros  3 года назад +2

      Gra, usually when that happens it is because students are getting the R(x) switched with the r(x). The "outside" radius, the function that is further from your line of revolution, should be listed first. Hopefully that fixes your problem!

      @graoliveira6688 3 года назад +2

      @@TheAlgebros I found my issue. Thank you so much for the quick response! PS.: Will a volume ever be negative? Say, if both functions are below the x-axis?

    • @tlmcarjustarandomduck3981
      @tlmcarjustarandomduck3981 2 года назад +2

      If I remember from the videos and class, it shouldn’t be negative? Because you are looking for a “volume” of the shape, cuz you changing the graph into a 3D shape? It’s hard to explain, but I am pretty sure it won’t be possible to achieve a negative volume, cuz then it’s no shape.

    In engineering, calculus is hard ...In fact, the questions' level is very high . You need to be Mister fantastic to pass , not to score 65% lol. Literally profs are very bad tbh
