Is he supposed to click his fingers and dissapear, with no drive his rear tyres would grip up and the stagger pull him left, how's he meant to get out of the way. Be frustrating for everyone involved in the accident but just a racing incident, nothing done deliberately by anyone to cause it.
I can see both sides of the argument but I cant recall ever seeing a DQ for being rear ended so I lean more with the driver on this. Also the Stewards name should have been made public live during that call instead of a nameless face
As a driver, if your car breaks, it's your responsibility to get out the racing line and off the track as soon as safely possible. He didn't do that, he deserves the DQ. Play victim all you want, you created a hazard by keeping your dead car on the track.
@@southbridgetastymeats7539 Your advice is what led to this this incident and the video itself. He had a clear path to the infield, and yet he stayed in the middle of straight and got ran over.
This was the worst call of the whole weekend
Maybe ever
Ando was stitched up! You know he would of made a decent charge and put on a show in the A. Give the fans what they want!
Absolutely disgraceful decision by the Chief Steward.

I reckon hey. Imagine if he drive to the infield how many more would piled up
Wasn’t a huge Aldo fan….but I bought a t shirt after this bs

Still the worst call I’ve ever seen
This was a gut wrenching decision made.. in still dirty about that decision.
What do they expect Sprintcars don't have rear view mirrors. Bloody Stupid decision 🤬🤬🤬
He needs a rear-end sponsor also.
If this was in the us this wouldn’t even be a controversy there was no yellow flag so….
I agree with grant

So move a car down the track under no power. The safest place for everyone is to stay where u are and let other cars go around you.
