Hey Matty. Love the vids as usual. I was a commercial coral trout fisherman for 12 years. I’ve seen some absolutely enormous GTs over the years. Was also the deckie onboard Northern Conquest charters when Big Hus caught the 70kg beast aboard San Miguel. Anyone who’s seen the fish knows the one I mean. I’ve got a whole file of photos of it for anyone that still thinks it’s a photoshop (I assure you it’s not) Reason writing is that the absolute biggest Bangers I’ve ever seen, live in the southern anchorage that all the pro boats use at Broadhurst Reef. There’s stacks of them. I have videos of literally 50 of them together all over 30kg at the back of the boat with sharks and gropers too. Scary big! Recommend you definitely make a trip there sometime bloke. You’ll love it!!

Long time viewer, first time commenter. Absolutely sick video, but I have to say when you hooked that Chinaman in the blue hole, you can see a massive pink acropora or similar coral get smashed off the reef ledge 😢 26:41 roughly is when it happens.

Hi, Matt. Great footage, as always. Could you answer two quick questions? 1. What are the make and model of the drone you use so effectively in spotting fish-in this case, GTs in blue holes? 2. What are the make and model of the smaller center console that you have often used while aboard the Nomad mothership? It seems to handle even rough water exceptionally well. Hey Chris, I use the mavic air 3 for all my drone shots. im not that great with colour grading so I keep all the setting standard. the smaller boat or 17' sportsmans. they really are epic boats for their size. the 19' model is even better again

04:00 in ... I have to say these fish are aggressive bastards ... the fish we have here aren't aggressive like that in their fish shop Ice Slurry ... very calm really ... and Skinned and Boned ... Not Aggressive at all till you hear the Price .. Then you realise why all the Fish Shops have bullet proof Glass between between a mans fish and this bloody shop keeper

Just saying here and I don't give a frak why fishers do it, Some old, maybe land locked People that used to love fish and the actual taste of Fresh Fish ... to see you throw them back is quite offensive.
Dont need to take every legal fish mate, some of us anglers would rather see that fish swim away and enjoy another day. Don't get me wrong, I love cooking a fish I caught myself. But there is something humbling about letting the fish live.
I get where you're coming from mate but fishing is my full time job and so i don't need to keep all the fish I catch. I prefer to eat fresh fish and im very fortunate to fish once a week so I tend to only keep what I need for those few days between trips
This guy Matt may seem a bit spoilt to some people out there but if you actually knew the effort , time and alot of times PAIN he goes through to show you these clips ...............the freezer is full guys let him do what he loves and us watch vids of him doing what we love. Plenty of other channels to watch people
