Na I used to think that not sure if they changed it or I found better sandwiches I brought my 2 buddy's to try it cause it was one if my favorites but last time I went I was lacking in flavor and I was kind of disappointed go eat an authentic Gyro in Greece nothing compares
Easily the best sandwich I have ever had. It was an honor to meet Joey and the crew at DiNics, through my cousin, a chef also in Philly, Jasper Alivia, who is also part owner of Nemi in Port Richmond.
I don’t know why I even watch this when I’m no where NEAR this place.... I just make myself suffer.. the closest replica to me is subway, and it’s not even close to this place! I don’t even think I can compare it.

I miss living in Philadelphia SOOO much! This sandwich I crave, except instead of broccoli Rabe, its spinach for me.. Extra au just on the side for dippin.. That's Living!! Don't forget the extra sharp provolone, that would be a 4th degree felony!!
🤓..I work in an airport...if I go threw your luggage and find two roast pork sandwiches from Nick's....your gonna arrive at your destination with 1 pork sandwich...🤗...and a thank you note
I was there on Friday 11/10/23 and I had the beef & my wife had the pork and both were fantastic and the line was 60 people long but it took less than 10 minutes to get our food. BTW: the meatball sandwich also looks great. Don’t forget to grab some Bassett’s Ice Cream while at the Terminal, richest real ice cream in the USA and no crap ie: guar gum or corn fructose mixed in.
I think the roast pork, roast beef (same way with the sharp provolone and rabe) and the meatball grinder are all better than the cheesesteak. Cheesesteaks are fine and being from Philly I still eat them a lot but there are way better sandwiches here. And that’s just on the hot side of things. If you want to go cold then there are a million variations of hoagie of course
So i'm dated a girl from philadelphia and went there many times. I went to all the places and this was by far the best. The gentleman in the video I talked to several times very nice man recommended. I get what I think I would like after talking to him. He suggested that I get the sandwich in question with the sweet peppers. Try to every which way and the Sandwich with the peppers was better than with the broccoli.. Don't give wrong they're all good in fact. I strongly recommend if you are in the area you go to this place and get anything even a bottle of water l o l
Omg, someone give me a couple double bacon cheeseburgers already! Or 6 meat and cheese wraps! Or a couple Italian dishes of mac n’ cheese mixed with fettuccine Alfredo! Something; I’m hungry!
@@teacherfoodie yeah. I've spent a lot of time on the Woodrow Wilson bridge so I know three hours is a pipe dream. Is there a neighborhood in SE Pennsylvania named Northern Virginia?
I went here right before Corona made travel impossible, and had this same exact sandwich and I was extremely disappointed. The sandwich made me question why is this so highly touted. I couldn't finish it. Before leaving Philly, made a stop at Tony Luke's and now that roast pork was legendary!
I ate there after roaming around Reading Terminal for an hour undecided on which place to choose, I thought the sandwich was good but, my sandwich looked nowhere near as fat and juicy as the ones I'm seeing here on this video or another video I saw of this place. Also, my sandwich had what I think was spinach instead of this broccol rabe. I guess when the cameras are rolling they make the fat sandwiches.
Cheesesteak: Behold, I am Philly's best sandwich!
Roast Pork: Hold my broccoli rabe
never.
I've never heard of this and I am from Cherry Hill, just south of Philly.
Beef is just so $$ now days thanks Obama!! Because before Obama steak burrito at chipotle was cheaper then chicken.
Ate there twice in 3 days on a visit to Philly in 2017. They're not lying. Ir's as good as they say it is.
DiNic’s is incredible! One of the best sandwiches around
Oh yeah. Makes me want to stuff my mouth with it!
I’m out of California & I gotta say that alone makes me really want to get out there and taste more of our America.
Philly is an awesome food town, Reading terminal market is amazing. Dinic's is fantastic. forget the peppers, get the rabe!
Heck yeah!!
@@se7encuretonit’s been 3 years, have you come to Philly yet?
@@steelyd2 saddly no no I haven’t yet. It’s pretty far from ca. one day? I hope !
I also want to eat in Boston
Been there many times hands down best sandwich ever. They have the roast pork , beef and sausage. Amazing
Easily one of the BEST sandwiches I have EVER eaten!

We suffer the same thing.

DiNic's is so damn good. Between the fresh roll the sharp provo and the perfectly roasted pork.
Looks like absolute perfection each and every time you have the pleasure of eating it. Scrumptious.
The broccoli rabe is a must and if you don’t find seating inside which you probably won’t, just head outside and sit on the curb. Love DiNic’s
Dnic’s is amazing. I usually smuggle 2 on the plane when I leave philly.
🤓..I work in an airport...if I go threw your luggage and find two roast pork sandwiches from Nick's....your gonna arrive at your destination with 1 pork sandwich...🤗...and a thank you note
Dude, bring one to me so I can eat it!
I miss this sandwich!!! Moved to the Pacific NW and I cannot find anything even close to this or a cheesesteak here. :(
I show this place to a few of my friends who recently visit from Boston and they love it they liked it more then a cheesesteak
I've been eating this sandwich for days since I've been here. Outstanding!
With pork that juicy, who can resist?
DiNics! My only problem is how long the wait is. Johns Roast Pork is a solid choice as well.
Rock solid through and through, starting with the family !!! As real and heroic as it gets.

DiNics with roast pork, sharp aged provolone and Italian longshots is one of my favorites.
I like how you roll,,😆
That looks so freaking good.
2:57 wtf theres a face in the tray
The real magic always starts at 4am, am-i-right?!
Yup. Even at the best parties, the magic happens between 4 and 6 a.m.! Hehehe....
The Sandwich At 0:46 is making my Mouth water
They’re Italian style pulled pork is their best sandwich.
3:47 LMAO! I love this guy. XD
Glad to see Joe the owner still going strong ever since man v food days..
My mouth is just salivating watching this ..... but sadly won't be able to try it !!!
What cut of pork do they use? Shoulder/Butt? I doubt it or else it would easily fall apart.
ah! The best sandwich in the world! I wish they could mail me one to Louisiana. I miss Philly.

Another reason 2 💘 Philly.🍞🍖🧀😊
Ive traveled there from Boston 7xs just for that sandwich. Best sandwich in Americs.
A truly delicious sandwich
Yooooo y'all just don't know how good that jawn is make sure they put the gravy on there
Loveee the background music thooo!!😍😍❤
Try the meatball sandwich there 🔥👍🏻
I must try that sandwich!🤤
Who else just woke up and is kind of sad now because you want a sandwich 🥪 😔
i love bahn mi sandwich :)
Rockstar Eater to be honest I’ve never tried any recommendations in California?
They are all good!
I take this over a cheesesteak any day
AT 1:33 YES!
Food is life
I’m seriously considering a trip here to try this. I’m from the UK. Btw, thanks for making me salivate and bite my phone.
Lucky for you, we have a sandwich embassy in London called Passyunk Ave. Closest you'll get.
@@ihateregistrationbul thanks. I’ll be sure to check it out

A lot of sauce like water is sprinkled on the bread, doesn't the bread melt?
Yes. You need a lot of napkins.
Tell them you want provolone or that
cheese wiz in your broccoli rabe and
pork sandwich!👍🏻
Wait make it extra sharp shaved provolone!👍🏻
It looks delicious just watching the video. I want to eat
Yes me too everytime i watch one of your uploads.
👍👍👍
This looks like we have Chicago’s Italian Beef sandwich at home.
I’m about an hour away in N.J., I gotta get off my lazy @$$ and fo get one of these sandwiches already!!
I need to get up there..it's only 87 miles away but with Baltimore and Philly traffic it will probably take 5 hours

Take the train.
Dam I want some now

It's the same sandwich. They both admit it in other videos. They both say "this is just standard Italian pork on a good roll"
SOUTHWEST philly is here
What cut of pork?
Wonder if the pork,is overcooked sitting in that vat similar to Italian beef in chicago
The most underrated sandwich in Philly ,I always go for this than the cheesesteak sorry Philly haha
As a philadelphia native for 32 years, I never heard of this place until now.
Reading terminal has so many great places in there
Philly: "The city is nice, the people are nice, the food is nice, the history is nice; only a few fanatic sports fans are trash."
Spot on
best sandwich in the USA!
Been there, and there is no better.

When you mention spinach, you lose any credibility
What is the liquid he pours on top of the meat ? pork bones stock ?
a few years ago adam richman did a show called best sandwich in America and this won
Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey....Dahhh Best....Dahhh Best.....It's always the best because they never left.
DiNick’s Roast Pork is delicious, but Tony Luke’s is my favorite by far. Beats a cheesesteak any day.
DiNic’s is good. But if you’re willing to make the trek, John’s in South Philly is right up there.
Who else remembers this place from Man vs Food?
yes, it was a great sandwich
I eat at DiNics all the time. Roast pork, sharp prov & horseradish.
AWESOME
“I know this is gonna be hard to chew” not something you should be saying before eating a sandwich
unless its 1.5 inches or just butter it shouldn't be that easy to chew...
I went here recently
Bruh it’s pretty good
What is broccoli rob.?
Damn that looks good!
=)
와 진짜 맛있겠어보이네요 먹어보고싶다ㅠㅠ
Damn that looks good
=)
Now I'm hungry.
Italian roast pork w/sharp provolone is great, I can do without he broccoli rabe, too bitter.
I want this roast pork sandwiche do bad
I love it and I want it but it far away from my place😭
Wow.....
Bring them to Asia ..... pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I like it because it looks a lil healthier than a cheese steak
is that sliced porchetta basically?
Kyle Kinane's doctor called it!!!!
COOL 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love pork 🐖♥️
Dinic's is fine. John's is way better an less of a tourist trap.
Great high school quality commentary from the hostess.
Just damn
What cut of pork do they use , pork butt ?
Adam Richman brought me here.
You NEED to go to the Kenilworth bakery! Their donuts are amazing!! Kenilworth, QLD, AUSTRALIA
I was just there lol
I always thought it was broccoli Rob and that it was actually broccoli. lol
Much better roast pork at John's Roast Pork in S Philly!
The owner kinda looks like David Dastmalchian.
No doubt the roast pork is phillys best sandwich.
