I love this show I grew up watching this show and the Jeffersons I miss the old TV shows it would be great if they could bring them all back again great memories watching these shows ☺👍💞
That was my ALL TIME FAVORITE episode of the show. Favorite scene? The overnight one with Nell and the Chief meeting for the first time. Talk about priceless.
Loved this episode. Made Me want to cry. Funny how in real life to we sometimes get to see old friend's just when we need them the most. I believe that God has a hand in it all for a reason. Amen.
This had me crying like a baby. Hadn't seen it since I was about 10 years old. And God bless Nell Carter that woman went through such horrible stuff in eatly life and adult life. A funny and talented performer who brought a lot of joy to a lot of people
My introduction to cancer when I was a young child - I had no idea what it was. Now I'm almost 50, and my mother has it. Sometimes life gives you a shot across the bow - be sure to keep your shields up... =M=
I love this episode because we met Margaret Kanisky. The funniest part was when Nell & Carl met by being in bed together. The terrifying part of it for Nell was being butt to butt w/ a cop.
One of my favorite's as well. Wish that the writers would have wrote about how Grandpa thought about Carl and Margret's marriage and how they got along with her after Carl's passing. Both Nell and Margret were like family
Out of all the GAB episodes, I watched season 6 episode 23 right before this one and both had a brief appearance by actor Theodore "Teddy" Wilson. Here he played a night club owner and in s6 he played a minister.
The relationship between Nell and Margaret seemed spectacular. Best friends who shared the same energy and sense of humor. ❤️
I believe that Nell was more of a sister to Margaret.
Nell a true blessing, treasure, and friend through it all.

This is my favorite episode of Gimme a Break!
of course it is.

I miss Nell carter and the cast of gimme a nreak
The woman who played the girls mother and the police chief's wife in this episode reminds me of Florence Henderson
Both were good actresses.
Facts
Sharon Spelman. Also on the great sitcom Angie
Ironically she's the only adult in this episode (not including the babysitter and probably mr.funky) who is still alive.
@@machoman1016 Mr. Funky died in 1991.
I like this episode

😭🌹Nell, the greatist mother their was..👋👋👋👋
I love this episode and this show sooo many memories ❤❤❤❤
Nell: Comin!
😅😅😅😅😅
Julie and Samantha look closer in age here than when then in season 1.
Sam was a little tall for her age, thats wby.

I was waiting for little Sam to say I'm only 5. She sounds like matty lol
Ive always loved watching this show. Isnt the guy Mr Funky, play on Good Times?
Yes he played Sweet Daddy
Theodore Wilson, a wonderful character actor whom also had guest roles on Sanford and Son, All in the Family and The Jeffersons. May he rest in peace.
@@yondrisferguson3215 the one who played mr. funky he guest starred has a cop on the partridge family season 4 episode 1 Hate Thy Neighbor!
Yup sweet Daddy Williams
One of my favorite's as well. Wish that the writers would have wrote about how Grandpa thought about Carl and Margret's marriage and how they got along with her after Carl's passing. Both Nell and Margret were like family
He wanted Nell lol
Had Dolph survived and Nell married IR in real life I wondered would they've gotten together after the girls were gone.
@@alexisstewart8605 I think they would have Nell and the chief had a chemistry
Hey, Mr. FUNKY knew Nell was 🔥
When the show started in 1981, it was as though she had just passed away recently. Did she linger for ten years?
They changed it.
Out of all the GAB episodes, I watched season 6 episode 23 right before this one and both had a brief appearance by actor Theodore "Teddy" Wilson. Here he played a night club owner and in s6 he played a minister.
L willis • he was sweet daddy willam's in good times
@@dm2129 Yeah, I know. I loved Sweet Daddy Williams.
He was also in an episode in season three.
Sad 😔
Lol cute funny sweet
But in the beginning of the show, Margaret died in 1980.
I can’t believe I don’t remember this episode.
@6:59...Cliff Norton died 2 days after Nell Carter in 2003.
This was very sad 😥
reboot reboot
No, way.
If Nell were alive I would say yes
They did. It's called _Full House..._
