Eren is such a fucking good character!! Really thought he would just be a typical protagonist but he blew that title out of the water! At this point don't know what title to give him other than that this is his story and what an incredible one at that. This has to be the best closing song of AOT, something about it gives me the chills seeing just how far we have come, the entire journey and its inevitable end. In a way its heartbreaking too.

When was he a typical anime protagonist? I started watching AOT when it was streaming the first season, but I didn't think he is like any other MCs back then. He was filled with the need to fight back to win freedom and revenge for his family and anger issues, unlike any other Shonen MC which is why really liked AOT back then. Now maybe there are similar rage-filled MCs but then it was rare.

To know they lyric's meaning... The fact Eren is called a "child of evil"... To see his innocent child self again, then later see him all grown up... My poor baby, I just feel so sad... but he is pretty much close to my current age, I essentially grew up with him. I am saddened I binge watched a lot of the show and have spoilers so I know the ending... I just want to give this man a hug and ask if he's okay and that he doesn't need to carry a heavy burden, and that all will fine.
