The truth is I don't want to upload this yet, but unfortunately my health for this past few days aren't very great. I haven't got time to edit any video yet. @Amro, Recruiting a strong soldier like Levi, using Eren’s titan for Paradise’s benefit, Almost sacrificing himself to overthrow the corrupt royals. He pretty much fought for Paradise. His goal was only there so he didn’t end himself like Reiner almost did.

He could have run to the basement to get his answer before diying but he choose to die on the battlefield for humanity. He did exactly what Levi said "abandon your dream and lead the recruits into hell". He died sacrificing himself and his dream for humanity in the end, by respect for those who did the same under his command. A true hero indeed

yea, but the difference is that erwin himself was giving away his life, he wasnt being hypocritical like generals in a room (as in real life) he was spitting out the cruel true, the cruel reality and accepting that he had to do what he gotta do

In a way he's actually very manipulative and would not care to sacrifice anyone, anything or even himself to achieve his goals. But that's what make him the goat. That's the kind of person you'll need to achieve victory when the circumstances are hard.

So Erwin's speech starts off like yea life is meaningless before he quickly turns it around and says that's not true. Some headass got excited and went "what a speech!" when Erwin's still talking about hopelessness 🤣

we were doing a marathon of the whole show coz it was my first time but wasn't my brother's. since his death, i cried ALL THE WAY till s4p1 (which was the latest one at that time). every episode. my brother has to consider stopping coz he was worried, i was bawling and my chest was hurting

This one is amazing but the dub for this speech hits me so differently I use a remix at the gym lol

Not in the same way as erwin, but i feel like black clover and vinland saga especially vinland saga has a lot of these type deep speeches, not necessarily exact same feeling as this though different emotions.

Am I the only one who viewed erwin as a villain I respected him but at the end of the day he was throwing the lives of thousands away all for the sake of answering the questions only he cared about yes he wanted to help but at the end he would've thrown it all away for awnsers
You are the only one.
If answers was the only thing he cared, he would have saved his life in order to witness those answers. Especially when those answers were just a few metres away from him.
He cared for those answers cos he knew that it was the best bet for humanity's survival. Without knowing the true scope of things, humanity would not survive the onslaught of Titans. He sacrificed his life and that of his soldiers so that the rest of humanity is one step closer to being saved.

no bruh , armin was the key . believe it or not but during erwin's time of being the commander , the survey corps didn't make any progress and just kept losing till eren and armin came , don't forget all of this was armin's plan , not erwin's . if armin wasn't there , they would have been long dead including eren . and erwin couldn't have done anything to influence eren during the rumbling , armin is basically the main character if we look at it from a hero pov instead of the protagonist pov

Let me tell you, they can climb the wall but they can't retreat to headquarters district trost, bcs the only way is using horse. even horse need a day night trip, using cable is complete mistake bcs their gas is limited.
Ok what about just stay and hide in the upper side wall, yeah sounds make sense, but they are human and need Supplies, meanwhile titan didn't, beast titan armor titan and colossal they're must be have much supplies bcs they bring cart titan who can bring supplies for them
But survey corpse didn't. Yes they did bring supplies but just for few days if am not wrong Erwin said less then a week,
So if they climb the wall and wait. Titan will not kill them but hungry will kill them all
