We need more separatist sets/droids. You can look up how to make some like the super battle droids with jet packs, but we need stuff like a tactical or a super tactical droid!
Grievous’ combat speeder is way overhated. I got it when it came out, and I loved getting Mace Windu and Grievous in a cheap set. And as for the size, it allows for greater detail just like an AT-RT, and a lot less complain about those. It may be overpriced, but I’ll let it slide. Maybe I’m just used to LEGO’s modern habit of overpricing sets though.

Nah man the 2008 hailfire droid is a god tier set. For only $20 you get a lot and it’s really good army builder. Especially for a kid who usually only has at most 20 bucks.
@fivelonelyclones I was gonna mention you forgot the invisable hand but another top tier seperatist set is the Umbaran MHC as it isn't the typical Seperatist set since its based off of a local Seperatist planetary militia vehicle.
In 2022, I got a sealed 2009 magnet set with removable Nute Gunray, Onocanda Farr, and Chancellor Palpatine minifigures on Amazon for only $18. That’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for Lego Star Wars.
Lego also released a technic droideka years ago that opens up by itself. There's also an older version of general grievous' wheel bike that includes obi wans chicken horse lizard. And idk if you can count the octuptarra droids since I think they're supposed to be clone battle packs
Still have the battle of geonosis cannon and all the figs in perfect condition because it was the last set I got when I was 12 before my parents said no more Lego lol
Having only fairly recently gotten into collecting SW Lego, I'm really hoping that they start bringing out some more Separatist sets in future. There's been loads of clone sets, need some actual Separatists to go up against them! And, definitely need to get a reasonably priced General Grievous..... I know it's unlikely that we'll ever see a full size MTT again - but, I can dream.....

Also your least favorite Homing Spider Droid is the best because it can hold itself up. The other 2 use low friction light grey technic pins and can't stand up normally. The 2016 has black technic pins which have more friction, allowing it to stand up straight.

9515 The Malevolence is INSANELY overrated. I had it once, sold it and never looked back. It’s a massive space hog, (for a playset, it’s extremely difficult to store or display thanks to its length), and it’s also cursed with an irritatingly fragile build plus limited functions, and the one major selling point function, the twin Flick-fire Missile battery Ion Cannons, is super janky and works extremely poorly. And to top it off, most of the minifigures aren’t even all that rare. Only Clone Wars Padme and technically the Battle Droid Commander (accurate version instead of the yellow chest version in existence before) are unique to the set, and they don’t make the set worth the money, not even a little bit.

You just type it somewhere and you know what it is, if someone just tells you its an AT-TE you wont know which one they mean unless they also have the year with the set name but even then you might not remeber which one it is. TLDR which im guessing you need: numbers are easier, just type it into youtube
