My wife of 39 years of marriage past away and brother when I see the love you have for family it makes me smile and appreciate what God gave me. Even though I wish it had been longer. YOOOO.. hopefully someone will actually read this... I dont have social media so this is my platform .. My family and I took a road trip last Saturday Sept. 23 2023 to this restaurant to try this oxtail cheesesteak.. I had the honor of meeting Ms. Owner of this establishment who actually was brought to my car by her cousin who was holding the place down. ( lines, orders, phone etc).. both are not just beautiful but very professional and so so sweet.. There was a.wait however it was definitely worth it.. we also ate the spinach fries, egg rolls, ( chicken, seafood) Allll was AMAZING... of course the oxtail cheesesteak OFF THE CHAIN.. the strawberry lemonade was also d lish.. Sooo that all to say WE WILL MAKE THIS ROAD TRIP OUR THING to come and support.. We kicked it, laughed like we knew each other for years.. very personable and just lovely made the trip all worth while.. Love this place, love the owner love her cousin etc.... love love love.. GO SUPPORT BLACK.OWNED AND BLACK YOUNG DOING HER THING..

You guys are blessed in Philadelphia with amazing food joints like this. My made made oxtails but she made a soup. I make them, but I bake them in the oven. That gelatin kinda gravy comes from the meat because oxtails are very gelatinous. Those sammies look delish. Thanks for the vid & idea JL !!! 💕

Coming from Maryland, I ordered the salmon and shrimp cheese steak. I asked for the cheese to be on the side. My order was incorrect, and the cheese sauce was on it. Like I thought, because salmon is a delicate fish, the cheese sauce was overpowering. I was disappointed. I also was not happy with them not accepting credit card payments, we had to go across the street to a local corner store to get cash. However, I plan to return in the near future, and this time, I will make sure there is no cheese on my order and to have cash on hand. Besides that, great staff. Definitely worth a visit. 😊

When I 1st went there from JL's first video, they had stopped selling onion rings, but the owner went to the supermarket and got some onions to fix me onion rings!!! Talk about customer service!!! I went there Friday evening and the line was so long they had to stop taking orders. Thank god I was in line early enough. That thing was sooooo good I had to slow down at the end cause I knew I would miss it when it was gone.

The sauce is called "brown sauce" and I assume she may add oxtail juice from the oxtail with the brown sauce. A lot of people like trick daddy cook with brown sauce and carribeans.
