Im starting cdl school on jan 27th. Im super excited and ready. My work ethic is great, im not afraid of hard work and im always looking to improve and advance. When i do something im 110% in it. I think that will help. The career change is a bit daunting but i think itll be great for me and my family. I see alot of videos like "trucking industry is bad right now" and "trucking sucks". Its about what you put in IMO. What you put in is what youll get out. If i can pull in 1000 bucks or more per week, itll be an improvement from my current career. Best of luck to all the drivers out there. Stay safe. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Awesome video bro! Couple tips on saving money OTR: give up your apartment, give up your vehicle, cook your own food and run hard for 3 years straight, save and invest as much as possible. After 3 years your entire financial life will be different.

What is the siding on the house behind you? Marble? Textured concrete?

My advice for anyone coming into the industry as a company owner is wait till you have zero debt (this includes mortgage)

First video I have seen of yours... I got my cdl at 40yrs old and bought my first truck in 2017 for a part time job. Grossed 30k the first year figuring out how the industry works, now with the experience I've gained, I have two trucks, several trailers, and gross between 75K-100K still part time, solo. Trucking has allowed my spouse and I to become 100% debt free (land and mortgage included) and invest heavily with a million plus worth and growing. It absolutely can be done! It is hard work that most people are not willing to put in to achieve the goals. ~Rob~
