Two 50 year old women used this video to install a new fuser on a Brother MFC-8710DW in 20 minutes with just a screw driver!!Thank you for the great video, we couldn't have done it without it!!
Thanks for the step-by-step demonstration of both disassembly and reassembly. It helped me get over a couple of areas where the parts seemed to be too tight, so I thought I was doing something wrong. I changed the fuser unit since the print coming out blurry and would jam sometimes. Everything works well now and the print is crisp like before.
Thanks so much. I just did this with an MFC-8910DW, and the parts and procedure are the same. The parts came out easily but went back in with much more difficulty because everything is black inside. It was very helpful to have this video to refer to.
Invaluable video! Our fuser has needed replacing three times (the ONLY thing that has gone bad on this printer) and all three times I've used this video. THANK YOU for recording and sharing!UPDATE: Now it's been 4 times this video has helped! This Brother printer has outworked our past Kyocera & Xerox!
I need to get to the power supply board on an MCF L2700DW. It does not turn on after a lightning. I do not know how to open the panels to get there. Please help. Thanks in advance, Ramon Perera.

How many 50 year old women does it take to replace parts on a MFC? Don't put them down, they are not stupid.

That's what I'm looking for too.
Hold 3 and 9 keys together to get to reset menu
why replace a junky fuser with another junky fuser? they all melt down with moderate use. no support from brother. buy hp.
all fusers wear out. they are designed to do so.
ok, ...rich boy ,thats funny, Brothers support team answers my Emails
Switched to Brother from HP. 100% of the functionality with 75% of the headaches. Plus it's cheaper all around.
Same. Used to be HP only but their support was so horrible (and rude and obnoxious) that I switched to Brothers. Man, the things are workhorses!

Is there an echo in here?
Mine’s original and 10 years old. Patience, 91% alcohol or butane, and G8010 grease and mine still works!
