Very nice! We used to sing this song years ago With one word slightly changed: take time to behold Him. There will always be a place in my heart for the hymns.
That was a beautiful rendition giving me peace at the end of my day. Being a Christian minister I certainly appreciate you using your God given talent to praise Him with song. May His peace be with you always.😎✝
"Take time to be holy ," much needed to hear this comforting soothing hymn. Lord thank You for this day .I entrust it into Your hands .I need You Your presence with me. Guide me and hold me close to You .Keep safe my family and my loved ones . Let Your spirit fall on us and cleanse our lives. lives.Amen.
What a magnificent hymn you’ve chosen for us today, perhaps one of the very best in detailing the the most effective way to develop your personal relationship with Jesus!!! And you’ve also chosen by far the most effective way to present it to us with your Mom and Dad !!! They certainly developed this special relationship with Jesus before passing it on to you !!! And with your choice of presenting to us today this beautiful and informative hymn which we we need to thoroughly absorb, you and your family continue showing us the way to Him and how to draw Him closer to each of us !!! Thank you for continuing to press on with this wonderful gift God has given you to share with us !!!
AMEN!! Now like never before we should be holy, spending time in God"s word & praying for the lost & spreading the gospel to this sinful world. Such a beautiful song, very meaningful words.God bless you!! 🙏🏻
Amen! A couple of weeks ago, I saw this hymn as a poem, and started singing a new melody to the lyrics. Then at the end of July, the Holy Spirit started giving me new words. I am an evangelist since 2007, and we need to be doing this as much as possible before Christ's return. These are the new lyrics (I sang it on my video last night). Take time to be loving, Christ Jesus our Lord, and He's coming to rapture, the bride He adores, By His blood He did purchase, His saints for all time, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, your power divine. Take time to be watching and looking above, for His glorious appearing, our hearts full of love, In this world we have trouble, but be not dismayed, Jesus promised to take us, to heaven some day. Take time to listen the Holy One speaks, He opposes the proud and gives grace to the meek, Your God goes before you, gives light to your path, Salvation through Lord Jesus, not appointed to wrath. Take time to listen, our God is alive, and He speaks to His children, who closely abide, Our Jesus is coming to rapture His bride, So look up to heaven, our redemption draws nigh. God bless you and your family. Maranatha.
@@WalkingbytheSpiritAlways thank you much for sharing! Holiness isn’t spoken of enough. I’d be glad if you pray for the disintegrated Yost clan, a family that was in church, who had Moravian Great-grandparents, but some of the great-great grandchild have lifestyles that are anything but pleasing to God.
Beautiful, Rosemary and your Mom and Dad!!! Your work is always SO PERFECT for our God!! God bless you all!! From a FREE home church in Paraguay. June-24
Thank you for producing and posting this!! My sister and I are currently reading through the daily letters our parents wrote to each other during the year our Dad was in Vietnam in 1969. Our mother was Catholic and he was Protestant but agreed to raise us Catholic. Anyway, we 5 kids ranged in age from 2-1/2 to 12 and I have been amazed at how my dad provided loving guidance and discipline to each and all of us from halfway around the world! (Despite his desire to have an Army Infantry Command, he wound up at a desk job in Intelligence and so we were some of the fortunate kids whose dad came back alive from the horrors of that experience.) He included a copy of these lyrics in one of his letters ... having jotted them down on the back of the bulletin DURING Sunday service for us! My Mom dutifully read them to us, too. Very cool to hear your parents bring to life one of my Dad's favorite hymns!!! By the way, you might find this amusing ... after my Mom died, my Dad found a Baptist church that he liked and invited a friend of his to come sing after he befriended a number of people, including the church organist. One of my Dad's other favorite hymns is Ave Maria. It took him a while, but he finally wore them down and they actually allowed his friend to sing it for them. Yup ... Ave Maria sung in a Protestant Church....miracles never cease!!! Wish I'd been there to hear it. My Dad's friend was Antonio Giuliano, MSG USA (Ret.).... National Anthem soloist for the US Army at the time.
Sister, The Holy Spirit gave me new lyrics to this song after I had sung the original lyrics to a new melody on my channel. They don't fit the old melody exactly, but I sang the new melody with all the verses both old and new. If you want to have them to sing, here they are: Take time to be loving, Christ Jesus our Lord, and He's coming to rapture, the bride He adores, By His blood He did purchase, His saints for all time, Father, Son, Holy Spirit, your power divine. Take time to listen, our God is alive, and He speaks to His children, who closely abide, Our Jesus is coming to rapture His bride, So look up to heaven, our redemption draws nigh.
A song that helps us understand how to live and act holy.
