I never flew on a 747 but it's good to see a video and hear the sounds of the engines
5:04- When he hits the hammer down, damn that’s the sweetest sound in the world coming from those 4 big RR engines.
Currently sitting at Sydney about to board this exact plane, to Perth.
I will be on the other end, expecting an 03 arrival.
SiVIDEO AVIATION awesome. Travelflow is ready to film from onboard :)
OK
Looking forward to the TRAVEFLOW - ruclips.net/channel/UCBRJ5TGk9OT2AT8NNGYcTWg - review.
i will miss the 747s 😪
Yes. They were good.
Brilliant footage, great to see.
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing 👍🏻
Yep we were lucky. One of the photo spotters talked the pilot into going A11..... Seriously.
Awesome footage of Our Lady in the skies. Its sad that her days are numbered.
Pity Qantas didn't donate a 747 to every major capital city airport so that the public could view it, sit in it and remininsce because I sure would like to. Long live the Jumbo.
Bloody good Departure, A big like from me
That is so majestic! Nice footage

ah and here we are - a couple of weeks after publication! Thank you!
Just discovered this channel and subbed! Awesome content keep it up! :)
Incredible close-up takeoff footage!! Massive like!!
Yes, I was very lucky to get that.
Its going to be sad to see this beautiful bird being replaced by newer planes. :(
Jeff Strachan good things always come to end at some point ;)
God Dammm the Rollers look good
Qantas buys the best spooling planes! !
GE CF6-80C2B5F powered one (VH-OEH) will be published tomorrow.
Amazing footage, really impressive!
Somewhere I have some photos of OJS making a tech stop here on the way to JNB with a fifth engine pod. With its retirement, there's only one RR 747 left in the Qantas fleet, so no more five-engine ops 😢
Yes i saw that. I wasn't shooting videos then unfortunately.
You share enough with everyone that I'm sure nobody minds you keeping that as a memory rather than a posted video! Glad you got to see it, and thanks for all the amazing content since! 😎
Where's this 747 going to?
Sydney.
