OH.. MY ... GOD!!!!! YOU MADE ME CRY!!!! Our stories are so aligned! I also had a transformation like that. Bishop was a part of my life also and then I saw what he went through with the Bishops. Shortly afterwards I went through an awakening in seminary. Then I was summoned by the Creator to go to Rythmia. I so wish that I could sit and chat with you!!!
Amazing how all of this love being poured out for someone who was an example of apostasy. The man who you knew, who walked with God (seemingly), was not the same man in the end. People act like he didn't denounce God and the Bible in whole. And we wonder what's wrong with the Church. Again, who he was - transitioned a long time ago. Wake up people.
He didn't denounce God and he only told the truth about the Bible. What's wrong with the church is that it is a cult that believes things because they are afraid not to, but have never done even the slightest study. And the word "apostate" literally means "runaway slave." I can't think of a better word to describe Bishop Pearson.
Maybe Bishop Pearson robbed other young boys and girls the experience that you had as a youth in such a loving Christian Church that simply preached the Gospel that the disciples preached. Maybe a little boy and girl will not feel the presence of God the way you did because Bishop Pearson started preaching a new gospel.
Nope, Carlton Pearson preached the original gospel, what the early Church believed and taught. It is the modern-day church who is preaching "another gospel" and is in heresy.
