Without being open to air you can store metal underwear for years with minimal rust like a water heater will rust from the outside quick with a leaky pipe or high humidity house cut them open the inside is nice

Merlin is one heck of an amazing mechanic! I also knew that Shawn was going to do good on that tube as well. I could tell that all of you were having so much fun!

Merlin and Jet ski Jimmy did a magnificent job on getting it back on the water. The own is going to be in tears again after finally getting his boat back from lake Powell. This boat has a history of perils and pain but the owner is getting it back and will enjoy it for a long time. Merlin and and Jimmy along with Paul and Ben did an amazing job getting it running again. Hunter got his first try at water boarding and had fun. Where is Ben we haven't seen him in awhile?
You guys did that boat right in giving it a chance at a second life, and in giving the original owners the opportunity to make all new memories in it. It serves a much better purpose on top of the water than underwater. Congrats on the Yellow Submarine!

You are at the mercy of whoever is driving the boat while on the tube. We used the old inner tube back in the day. Figures 8’s by the boat could knock anyone off. Good times. Hunter has come along ways. Look at all you get to do now. I’m sure there are a lot of envious kids your age out there. Heck even my age . Enjoy life.
I live out there, and Havasu is one of our closest "towns" (and the most "well-stocked" with whatever we need). I've always wanted to try a jet ski, but never have. Perhaps next time we go into town, we'll rent one. Yes, the rates are highway robbery... but just to do the experience would be a blast. Now if I can just coax the wife onto one... I'm astonished how this old sunken boat was brought back to life. From the first "just messin' around" attempt to get it started at Merlin's place and everyone being blown away that the thing even *ran* , to the video of the initial presentation. This was a fantastic journey, and I'm looking forward to seeing the next stage. You Fab Rats "criminals" always bring the good times and good natures!!! 😋

Right across the water from the sheriff station is a perfect island to wakeboard and ski around in Havasu. The island provides a nice wind break👍🏼
