When someone does a new exhaust on a quad video, they should do this just pure mean sound in trees and open to get an understanding of how loud these exhaust really are this is the best video out there for loud quads. Honda Killer 660 both bikes are fairly stock. I’ve had both stock motors for my Honda and my yamaha. I like the Yamaha better because it feels more planted to the ground

When you buy any aftermarket pipe for your machine, you need to contact the pipe manufacturer (or get on their website) and look for power tuning/jetting recommendations. Most of the big pipe makers will program an ECU for your specific setup. Then they ship you the ECU and you plug it in and go. If you are planning to program yourself, good luck without a dyno because there will be no way to determine how healthy the air/fuel ratio is. Only two ways to get a near perfect tune; dyno tuning session (several hundred dollars) or by buying an EFI auto tuner that plugs into your Vortex, etc. and adjusts your mapping on the fly.
How do you cope with the loud noise of the exhaust? I have dual barkers and they give me a headache when riding, legit thinking about removing them and putting a stock exhaust back on😂

I raced ATVMX for 5 years and most of us riders did nothing to mitigate noise. The noise from your bike is actually kinda hard to notice when you are on a track with other riders. But if there is somebody in front of you and you two battle back and forth for several laps, your ears will be ringing and your head will be throbbing. Will never forget how fucking loud a competitors quad was in 2009, a Pro Circuit carbon pipe on a built 450, full throttle wide open less than 3’ in front of my face for 2 long laps. My head is pounding just thinking about it. Hot damn do I miss the Wild West days of our sport. Let’s get it back
@@dnolder not for this quad it's not. My brother's made more hp with the RP than the fmf. The fmf sounds good. But IMO, the RP sounds a lot better in person and definitely louder.

It’s by far the loudest exhaust I’ve ever had. My helmet does a good job at blocking most of it out
