I switched from a 05 trx450r to a 18 yfz450r and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. There’s a few things you’ll want to do if you buy a newer yfz450r which is the big 3 and the vortex ECU is the best decision and you’ll want to get rid of the emissions bs and swap the clutch basket out with a 09-10 yfz450r clutch basket. After you work the kinks out they are a awesome quad and the stock suspension is quite impressive also.
I have a video on me writing a raptor 700 I'm sorry but I'm not impressed there's more power with the YFC450R more stability and it's made better the a arms are stronger in the front everything all the way around is just a better ATV with the YFZ450R you couldn't give me a raptor brand new off the showroom floor for a $1000 lol
@@rodneyyfz450r man that’s wild, I had a GYTR edition 700 with the big 3 and tuned it was a beast. Never ridden a yfz450 to be able to compare. Currently on a Honda 450R I’ll try and catch you at croom one day 🤘🏼
This is the 6th one that I've owned I don't ever do anything to the engine all I do is purchase the fool blocked out HMF exhaust with the HMF optimizer... The 1st 3 I would go easy and never 4th rattle for the 1st 10 hours but I've been told on this bike you don't have to have a break in period so the last 2 that I've owned a brand new off the showroom floor i just ride it like i stole it and never had any problems with any of my machines.... It's a great bike the top of the line the best of the best in my eye.
