Life saver! Thank you for this video. Trying to get some shots for my clothing brand and this video was very helpful! You’re a blessing. Much love and peace.
You’re welcome! Good luck on your shoot!
Dude thank you cause I wanted to start doing more of my work outdoors and I forgot all about the row. Also love your work!! 🍊
You’re welcome! Glad to help you remember:) and thank you 🙏🏻
@@JesseDeyoung I got into a bit of trouble over that. People were photographing with point and shoots and cell phones at a farmers market all night long at a particular shopping center. I took my SLR out and quickly found out that isn't allowed. The security guy said that photography with professional equipment is not allowed, and any SLR qualifies as professional equipment in their book. I realized that was an argument I wasn't going to win, but how unfair that I was the one who was prevented from taking photos.
incredibly helpful, thank you so much.
You’re welcome! I just put out a part 2 to this video of 5 more locations if you want more recommendations:)
@@JesseDeyoung oh what timing! Heading there now. More markers for Google maps.... thanks Jesse. And your insta photos are superb...
Hey thanks for making this video! Definitely going to take my camera tosome of these spots !
You’re welcome! I can’t wait to see what you make with them 📸
I def gotta check out that malibu spot! I havent shot there yet because its such a far drive from me but I need to just go one of these days
Hopefully you got out there in the last year 😜
you can shoot at lacma and uban light but yo9u cant use light that require stand within the lights.
I can’t speak from personal experience but from what I’ve seen driving by most people that use additional lighting have an assistant hand holding their lights. So I would say you are correct
@@JesseDeyoung lesson i learned first hand and talking with the security there.
Thanks for sharing... not sharing locations with some photographers is the same as not sharing models. It's like it's they're personal property or insecurity !!!!!!!!
You’re welcome! I’m working on part 2 now:) yeah I don’t get the non sharing approach to photography.. it’s fun seeing others what others see in places that I love!
When I shoot in LA I like to shoot at LAX. I haven't taken a photo inside the airport since they started all that new construction. It has killed some of my favorite angles. I lived in LA for 10 years and I didn't do any photography then. I also like Mount Hollywood and Elesyian Park for shots of down town. As for the beach. I prefer Ventura County even over Malibu.
I’ve actually never tried to shoot at LAX I just thought with all the security you would get kicked out immediately. Malibu is great! I could make a whole video on all the different beaches since they vary so much:) thanks for watching!
@@JesseDeyoung it's not actually shooting inside LAX. When I did I would shoot from the tops of the parking garages with a sand bag and mounting plate instead of a tripod. Like I said I think the new construction ruined all that. It's not actually in LAX but everything around it. You can get great shots of planes landing from many places including the iconic plane over the In n Out sign. You definitely need to photograph there especially if you want to experiment with motion. My last outing was in Malibu at El Matador of all places. It was a super high tide and I got hit by more than one rogue wave but it was a lot less crowded so I got some amazing shots. I have to research La Piedra and El Pescador they look interesting at low tide. If you ever come north to Ventura County and want to do some pier photography I highly recommend Port Hueneme pier at low tide and sunset. You get reflections forever.
Thank you
You’re welcome
We’re all in this together… well said 💪🫡📸
Thanks:) it’s true!
you’re super underrated, deserve more exposure 👏🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻
Really the red location so many people said it’s a charge
I’ve never been asked to pay or to leave and have been shooting there for years.
