I have a recommended gear page on Amazon. That's here www.amazon.com/shop/walidazami
A whole bunch of other things that I recommend on my Amazon store. BTW creators get a tiny % of sales when you click one of our links. We’re not getting rich from it, it just helps continue the free work for the community. The price you pay from the Amazon affiliates does not change.

good video and nice spots :)
lots of hidden gems like this all over downtown LA!
Thanks so much! Downtown is um... interesting at times, charming other times, never know what you're gonna get! Also, you guys have a great channel. :)
@@WalidAzamiTV very true! and thank you!
This is amazing thank you! I’m always looking for spots as a guerrilla run and gun fashion editorial shoot. Subscribed!
I live in dtla and didn’t know about the last spot. This is such a great guide for people who always ask me where they should shoot but I can’t always be there it guide them. So thank you for this!
Thank you for that feedback. Bless anyone who can brave DTLA day after day btw, but also...love the area too.
Questions? Let me know. Should I do a whole series of my favorite photography/film spots in Los Angeles? If you more, let me know in the comments what you'd like to see.
Thanks for this. I'm a native angeleno, but I do not pretend to know everything there is to know about this city. Always happy to discover my home through the eyes of others!
But of course!
Looking forward to seeing your videos
Some spots in West LA would be nice!
The “I don’t…” before every specific instruction is required lol
:)
This video is amazing! Been to a lot of those spots and definitely can feel how cinematic they are. 🔥 let me know if you need a buddy to go with next shoot! 💯💯💯
Thank you for watching!
Yes of course more vids on location suggestions would be great. Always want a place that is relatively safe for the model and me
Thank you! What type of locations are you looking for?
@@WalidAzamiTV well I’ve shot plenty in and around the arts district but would like warehouse buildings not necessarily indoors but outdoors. In the past the model and I would drive around until a cool alley or not so trafficked street, mostly on Sundays, and get out and take some quick shots before sketchy people would appear. I know it’s LA and this comes with the territory but it’s great when others share their locations
Can’t wait to see the series
Thanks for the support!
always providing value Walid. Soo Insightful and love the don'ts ...
Haha the don’t get shot for the shot??! And thank you kindly!
Thanks for your view on location spots. I would like to see more.
You got it! Thanks for the feedback
This is exactly what I needed. Didn't wanna shoot the cliche L.A IG spots, so hitting some of these on Monday.
YES!!!!! Funny thing is, I was in DTLA when someone was following my guide and taking photos there. She looks at me and says "hey we're watching your video right now".
Hope you have a successful shoot!
@@WalidAzamiTV - I was thinking we might run into each other since I frequent DTLA for my photo walks; although it's been a minute since I've been back. If I do see you we definitely need to grap a coffee and shoot some parking lots! 📸
Yep. Saving this video lol 😂
I got more coming!!
Athena Parking on Hill and 9th used to have rooftop access with an amazing backdrop of the JESUS SAVES neon sign at the Ace Hotel. Went a few months ago and they'd welded the door to the roof shut 😢
I believe there's still another little path, allegedly.
thank you for this explainer. and inspo . hahaha rats and mice are necessary 🤣🤣🤣🤣
you are my people.
With all due respect, downtown La resembles more Chicago than New York seeing that Chicago and Los Angeles are mirror cities because of Route and t 66 and the train station connects both cities and wrought a lot of people in synergy
Interesting point of view - thank you!
how do you do that like film like video effect?
Da Vinci resolve
I’m doing all the things you said NOT to do! 😂
oh no! haha switch up OR keep it if it works for you. Make your own rules up.
Possible to pin these on a map to share?
Wait how to do that?
Ah yes, a list of places I can wait for photographers to rob them. Thank you.
Asking for a friend: if you “find” a nice Fuji camera, I’d like to have a conversation over FB marketplace 🤣
Some great spots in this video.
If only people would stop putting progressives in office LA would have a chance to clean up. Our current DA is a nightmare.
Thanks. Not sure who’s progressive in LA - it’s a lot of corporate democrats disguised as true progressives.
I would not even had mentioned Skid Row bruh ...you trying to get fooos killed? hahah When you say don't that means GO to 99.9% of people lol.
is that what it means?
