Do you prefer the "old-school" style of cars or are you more into the new, modern concept cars?
"old school" all the way
How do know? 😅
I remember seeing his creations in custom car magazines in the 80's and was truly amazed at his talent and still am.
Dr. T. ......... i used to buy magazines in the 80,s when i was age 15 lol......one car i remember was the shrunk 2 seater red mini.....i may still have the magazine :)
@@geoffdundee , you're probably around the same as age as me then, Mini Ha Ha i think his 2 seater mini was called 👍
yep - remember the speed boat on wheels!
Truly Andy Saunders creations are incredible and artistic. Thank you Andy.
I love how his passion energizes his designs, it is infectious
These pieces of automotive art are absolutely jaw droppingly fantastic. What an artist this man is
Glad to see Andy is still building. First saw him in car magazines in the late 80s and he was pretty 'out there' with his ideas and designs even then.
Been watching your work since first seeing it in street machine in the 80s . Awesome work . And 200 cars inthe head. I know the feeling . Good work andy Saunders
I like hearing the stories if craftsmen like this. Great video and amazing builder!
Kid inside him keep him live and his creations became awesome
Pretty cool, but spend more time fitting panels. Unacceptable to see that much light show through around ill fitting doors on the Cord.
First thing I noticed.
Outstanding work!
Great work , amazing !
A thousand kudo's!
From the deserts of Southern California...drop the front on that "Cord" Andy but pleeeeze, no flames or crazy paint jobs! Fins are IN!
guys a legend... love the Bentley chop seen at highcliff castle.
I saw the peugeot at the nec, it was stunning! 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🏁🏁🏁
I believe you've found your medium, Andy. It's a happy magic when we can make our imaginations materialize, isn't it? Rock on, sir.
Like an art deco sculpture indeed :O
The original Cord is already a special car, but you made him very special.
Great work, but can you do something with the seal on the driver's door lol
I am half way the process of mashing together a 77 MGB AND A 1954 Packard Clipper Custom into a small two seat Packard based on the Caribbean show car. It is named the Clipper “B”. It even gas a mahogany and holly cowl aft of the bench seat back, like a 50’s speed boat.
He has made many cars over the years, not all to my taste but completely original and unconstrained by what others think and all the better for it.
The fact he enjoys it says it all really.
The Citroen put a smile on my face.
What a man!
"As soon as I made it, I lost interest... " LMAO
Okay that Picasso Citroen was cool
The accord is a beautiful work of art..
It's Cord, not Accord. It's not a Honda.
@@rockettcustoms6266 Gee, how about that. Aren't you the smart one. Young lady I am probably twice are age, that means I have twice the experience that you have with cars. I was looking at Cords when your daddy was just a baby. I have been crawling around old cars for a long time. When I was a kid I use to watch people drive by in the supercharged convertible and two door hard top. But thank you for pointing out the fact that I missed spelled the word Cord.
What a great imagination.😮
Could anyone else see light through the door seal as he drove?
No comment............. but yes!
Best ever.
Needs to work on the panel fit.
Toller Bericht. Vielleicht würde ein anderer Videotitel dem Film mehr Zuschauer bescheren?
How bout that light gaps round the top of the window frame there.
The True King of Kustoms
👍👍👍👍👍👏
And that Peugeot was probably one of three left! Damn.
At least he left that '37 Cord dashboard untouched...Not to mention that finned shame made out from a Citroen CX...
You are truly a crazy person if you make an old fiat 126 into the flatest car in the world.
0.51 seems that the door is not closing well.
Close that BOOT!!!
😅
Merry christmas!
Awesome! Hello friend
I am drawing cars! Hope keep in touch🥰
😅 funny and crazy
The doors don’t fit. But beautiful made.
Please tell me you did not cut up a very rare Cord 810/812 to make this contraption. Do you really think your aesthetic is better than Gordon Beurig's? It is not.
He's the English Barry Weiss!
LOL floaters
That Cord rod looks really cool. I scratch my head though. How can the same guy make such a nice car and then put those stupid stupid stupid tires on it. Get off the internet if this is where your brain is at.
And wheels
The car does look pretty good. Old style hot-rod but the wheels and tires absolutely ruin it.
Dubs on that 812. SERIOUSLY?
Why not? 😅 If you go through the effort to restore and rebuild a car, even a Cord, then why not?
Joe Evans it’s a goddamn cord though. It just hurts. They are so rare
@@isaacsrandomvideos667 hmm yeah true.. nice stag btw
Joe Evans very similar cars, it’s a 2500 P.I :)
@@isaacsrandomvideos667 lol stupid tiny thumbnail, gotta love those British Leyland cars (well some of them lol)
Banksy doesn't even come close to this man's talent.
1st
Beautiful made, but the doors don’t fit,
17 years and he can’t get the door gap right. There’s a hole over his right shoulder 1:11 plus, his designs lack proportion
Stfu 🙄
I think that is light reflecting on the chrome strip.
@@howardmckenna nah...you can see the passing landscape through it...
@@bob5074... I think you're wrong and it's light flickering on the chrome strip. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
@@howardmckenna ive blown this up on my computer and it is light reflecting and flickering, not a hole.
810 cord
Banks made statements in his art that demanded conversation about serious issues facing civilization today. To call this artist the Banksy of cars is nothing more than profiting off the artist Banksy.
The flat car and the Picasso Citroen are really stupid but the Cord and some of the others are really cool. Need to lose those stupid dub wheels on the Cord though.
His next car is my fault... Lol... Seriously it really is
Why do I have the feeling that this guy knows how much human flesh a hungry pig can eat in a minute?
Do you know what nemesis means? 😅
Banksy? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If he's the Banksy of cars does that mean he illegally leaves hot rods with satirical themes critical of injustice in public places in defiance of authority and to the joy of the people?
@M.B. Okay, the comparison is perhaps a bit "abstract"...😉
Tasteless
Spit window VW...
Quite dark sense of humour to name a car made from rusty parts that way.
Tetanus is a perfect name lol
Don’t ever insult Bansky like that
Banksy of Cars ? Wtf
not expense? )) the poor quality is visible even in the video
"Meet the Banksy of ..."
Who is Banksy? Have you met him? Comparison fails right there.
And of course, Banksy's art is chock full of social and political criticism. That's it's point. This is a dude building cars.
He took an 810 cord and copied it. He get's no props from me.
Cool cars thats a fact!🦝👍
What a man!
