Oh my, that is such a strong performance! Sarah Jarosz is a force in motion. And the talent on that stage is just off the charts. I'm blown away by the new Prairie Home Companion.
Sarah Jarosz a double Grammy winner and regular PHC guest. You have been awesome for years and finally getting your recognition. Hope to see you playing in season 2 of PHC.
Wow! Flawless performances by a group of very gifted performers and musicians. It simply doesn't get much better than this. Aoife and Sarah are national treasures!
So so soooo wonderful . .. all of her music and Chris's . . . but THIS . . .Perfection (Aside: whoever the cretins that can do a 'thumbs down' on the beauty and creativity of this music- .sheesh)
Went back up to watch her; you're right! Never seen her smile so much, especially while singing. I think she is finding that a killing percussion bass combo does miracles to change the feel of an already great song.
Sleepyguy1, that smile is about listening to the incredible music being created by her band mates. She knows her part; it's the anchor of the song but the other musicians are bringing this particular song to another level. Awesome performance! BRAVO!!!
My favorite part of this video is within the first 10 seconds. It looks to me like Aoife O'Donovan is delighted that they are about to perform the song that earned her friend a Grammy just days prior. Very touching.
There is a old B&W movie......"The Heiress"......You should find this movie and watch it. Once its over, you'll understand where Sarah got the inspiration for this amazing song.
I have seen Chris play guitar, mandolin, mandocello, octave mandolin, and mandola and I've seen Sarah play guitar, banjo, mandolin, and octave mandolin. Y'all quit being so talented, ok? I'm just kidding, please for god's sake keep making tunes.

Every show has been better and better--the new Prairie Home Companion has been phenomenal!

Love y'all

Chris and Sarah on stage and gifted others. You have gold”
That drum beat just got tattooed all over my cerebral cortex.
LOVE SARAH AND THE NEW PHC!!!
Seen her three times, loved her then love her now!
Brilliant. Just brilliant on every level. Love the way she moves the molecules!!
God this is true music
Sarah and Aoife are great
I saw her at Greyfox. Amazing performer, it was moving.

Such incredible musicians !
Food for the soul.

The most amazing performance I've ever seen!
Agreed bro, saw her at Greyfox. It was a moving performance
Killer band! That looks like Julian Lage on electric guitar in the background...Sweet!
it is
She is effortlessly brilliant.
Fantastic arrangement!
Love that sweet-talkin' guitar, pleading to be let in. Julain Lage nails it with that old Telecaster.
Man this so great! We are so very lucky!!
Very special talent, outstanding song.
We are all with her! 🎸☮️
Great song. Sarah will be a force for a long time. I was looking for Eldridge and found Lage. Cool.

I found Sarah on Pandora awhile back. I want to listen to her all the time now. -That sound! ❤
This is fantastic.
Wow! So sweet!
What a marvellous voice, what a perfect harmony beetween all musicians … beautifull !
Chris Thile on guitar, awesome!

Oh, Dear God!
Bang on.
Lovely Sarah 😎😍 I don't knock👩🚀
Look behind Sarah’s left shoulder, at the banjo with FIVE fret pegs on the neck...
It’s her SIX string Burning Man banjo...
Wow. Wish I could be part of that band.
Stuart duncan, holy hell
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It's so weird seeing Chris playing a guitar.
Sean Buchert in early nickel creek Chris -played guitar and Sean played mandolin
Interesting change to see Chris on a guitar, and Sarah on mando-guitar.
That's an Octave Mandolin.
Sounds like double drop D tuning.
Sarah and Aoife - need to find an alto and a bass player, and hit the Tradgrass- and take it by girl power storm!
Listen to the two of them with Sarah Watkins performing as 'I'm With Her'
I can't tell if you're joking or need to listen to I'm With Her.
+
its good but prefer the "them two" version of this song...go find it on youtube 'house of mercy - them two"
vawwwwww สุดยอด
This cancels out the political circus in America right now...
psyhodelic rock;)

Love me some Stuart, but the fiddle just didn't sound right in this song. Those organs though...
