if the sir's were better is think it could have been 1 of the best sets this era. but becaus of this i think it does deserve the price it has rn. the "hate" is a bit much but it does deserve the most hate of s&v sets edit: i do think shrouded fable is worth picking up for 30-35 per etb
@ the risk reward makes sense. The other thing to even with the sets that flopped they are atleast near MSRP at some point but never know will probably be a while
I was able to get a case of shrouded fable for $250 during black Friday I should have bought more, People are sleeping on this set and the box art is awesome
Greninja and Kingdra SIR collection boxes are for me 100% worth the purchase, I got both for just under 60 dollars, and pulled like 80 dollars worth of stuff from em (including the Greninja and Kingdra card prices). But even the monetary value aside, the Greninja and Kingdra SIR cards are amazing, even though they're "technically" not a part of the set. Now imagine them being in the set as chasers, it would have been a very valuable set.

The most ideal time to acquire any asset is when it's down and nobody wants it. -me if I was Warren Buffett's son lol. I'm not saying this set is a millionaire maker or anything, but it is the best thing you could buy to open since it's so cheap. It's the opposite of surging sparks in that way, haha. Surging is a NEVER OPEN type of situation lmao. But I digress.
Shrouded favor can do decent your def not wrong how ever I feel like there are some better plays to put your money in! At least in my opinion there a couple really good plays to make that are being overlooked at the moment.
I will say all the big channels disliked twilight masquerade and that set went crazy! The big shots can be right or influence the people watching the channel but that doesnt mean they will always be right sometimes they miss the plays or over look sets. I think it’s good to take risks especially on stuff you think can do well long term. Just don’t go to crazy into one set.

I grabbed em at 24$ because why not take a 250$ gamble even if ut only doubles
