First and foremost, Congratulations though to Kiziwanda. This was an awesome win. This episode taped 3/31/10 and yes i was there...and it was awesome. I was so glad to see someone on the episode finally win big. I was also fearing a double overbid because I knew the girl who bid on the first showcase was way over. (I'm in the 2nd row wearing a Grey jacket .......there's a lady with red hair and glasses in front of me...and she's sitting next to the "blue chairs" in the first row.......)
I know right?! The moment she bid that much on her package I knew she was done. Her car alone is probably just a little over $20,000 back then. My bid was 30,000. Of course the Porsche it’s a great car. But a lot of people don’t realize you got a pay taxes on these things before you can collect. And the taxes on that car have to be phenomenally outrageous.
The first showcase features Hong Kong but why Shenzhen (in China, not Hong Kong) is also part of the Hong Kong vacation when most of the visit in the trip is in Shenzhen instead?
Jovetj or you might lose them both... but yeah probably not a good idea to bid $1 on the showcase, cause if the other person didn’t go over you’re in deep shit and only have the one chance
4:30 - 4:34 Yeah Karen... That’s how it works. I am never glad to see anyone lose but after that, I was to see her take the L. 4:33 Drew “keep your bleached ass on stage, you’re gonna watch yourself lose!”
@WayoshiM There were people in the audience who were suggesting reasonable bids; but my part of the audience were yelling / suggesting $1 even going as far as to put the fingers up. LIke i said earlier, I KNEW the first person went way over and my fear was that Kiziwanda might have gone over slightly with her bid.
@WayoshiM: I had a rant about how the apparent V-6 Cayenne S was the third car plug incident in seven weeks, and that Kathy should never have let that happen after the earlier rants about the Taurus - and particularly with a Porsche during severe budget mode! But apparently the S version isn't this... There would still be a case for a rant if this was the 2011 Cayenne, which has no 290-hp engine option. But since that probably won't be the case, apparently I've just shot myself in the foot.
If the first to bid $150 away from showcase wins both so if the person they start with is $150 away Automatic double showcase winner other does not get a chance to
You had me convinced this was either a tie or a double-over with the title you put on it! I am so glad of the end result especially when the Amy said "Does that mean I'm done, I'm done." and wanted to walk off. Wow! Really?
That would be a total shock if / when she has soooooo much tax to pay on that car , here in Australia if you win something like that , it's yours , end of story LOL it would be a very sad to have to sell it just to pay the tax man..
Okay, instead...is this the 2010 or 2011 model? If this is the 2011 or the 2010 doesn't actually have this option combination, then my rant still holds valid. Otherwise, I've just destroyed myself...and looking back, I probably earned it.
@@JAMDJAMD Aren't the taxes due at the end of the year when you file your income taxes? Or does she have to pay them before she even gets the car? Edit: Oh wait you're right income tax is due as you earn it...however, in theory couldn't she take the car, get a bridge loan to pay the taxes, and quickly sell it?
I hope see was able to get a loan in 30 days to pay the taxes and claim her prizes. Because you know people don't think about how much money they have in their savings before they go on this show.
Fiji? You'd think they'd not want to send contestants to a dictatorship (Hong Kong, too, but China is a different rant entirely). Sure, there are resorts, but outside of that it's not a happy place. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised - people vacation in Burma.
I would NEVER Bid $1 on a showcase..... cause I know I thought others were way OVER, but weren’t. I would have probably made it a low bid on the Porsche like $30 or $40K, but definitely not a $1 Just in case.
Flying coach from LAX to Fiji and Hong Kong? Damn, that's like 11 hrs in coach each way x 2. Prob gonna be pretty miserable by the time you get there Lol

That was a perfect bid right around the actual price of the showcase
The first showcase features Hong Kong but why Shenzhen (in China, not Hong Kong) is also part of the Hong Kong vacation when most of the visit in the trip is in Shenzhen instead?
4:58 the dude was about to hug the blond chick hahaha and she got scared
Salty look on her face 😹4:46
Haha 4:46 - 4:48 she was dripping with that salt
And 4 years later, Another Porsche Cayenne Winner in Lucky $even Game.
What about this win is "overdue"?
I was thinking that someone won both showcases.
It was the first big win that season.
Read the description. It has to do with major wins where the prizes have extreme value.
Finally, the Porsche win! Better than the other Porsche showcase, which was heartbreak.
3:12 Anyone know what cue that is?
Second chick should have just bid $1. First chick was over the second she blabbed out her price.
This isn't Contestant's Row. Better to try and get close to the actual price of yours so you can win them both.
Jovetj or you might lose them both... but yeah probably not a good idea to bid $1 on the showcase, cause if the other person didn’t go over you’re in deep shit and only have the one chance
@@jovetj Nope. If someone makes a ridiculously bad bid like that, you bid $1 and take your win.
I thought they stop doing winning both showcasaes

"so im done???"
Angry much??
She didn’t seem that angry 😄 she just seemed neutral lol. I’ve seen worse contestants

I though he said if you dont go over" which she did
@BrownBrother27 and @WayoshiM
Rich Fields mentioned the Cayenne S with 290 horses. Actually, this trim of Porsche has a 400 horsepower engine.
I guesed 30k for the 1st showcase and 60k for the one with the Porsche
What would happen if both were off by say 150 dollars
Then BOTH of them would win both showcases. It has never happened in the history of TPIR, but it DID happen once in BigJon's version.
If the first to bid $150 away from showcase wins both so if the person they start with is $150 away Automatic double showcase winner other does not get a chance to
wow i'm surprised the porsche was less than 60k..as i remember they gave one away that was 50k back in 1990...
That was maybe before they started putting in VW parts in them . Also this Porsche had the lower horsepower
If she would have bid $61,400 should would have been a huge double showcase winner.
...and won $96,604 in Cash.
@CliftonPhotographer Trip to Mexico? Good Lord, really?
A beautiful win. The first Porsche won in 18 years on the Price is Right!
"Does that mean I'm done?" Starts walking off.
You got somewhere to go? Does she even watch the show?
Sorry to say this, but she's a blonde.
“Like no way... I like... got better stuff to like do...”
Sore loser
she's done when you get a low score on final jeopardy!
You had me convinced this was either a tie or a double-over with the title you put on it! I am so glad of the end result especially when the Amy said "Does that mean I'm done, I'm done." and wanted to walk off. Wow! Really?
I was expecting a double showcase win. Fairly close.
You don't want to go to Hong Kong now.
That would be a total shock if / when she has soooooo much tax to pay on that car , here in Australia if you win something like that , it's yours , end of story LOL it would be a very sad to have to sell it just to pay the tax man..
yvonneost12 Blame California's bullcrap. That's what I say.
I won a car at a nascar race in 2003 and the sales tax was crazy outrageous
You gotta pay tax before you get. Otherwise you gotta walk away without it.
So is she a California girl what was her tax on her Prizes
Girl on left never heard of Fiji and still acted surprised. Lol
I'm guessing the whole overdue part is winning the Porsche?
True Blonde.
ha ha ha ha. that other chick was so pissed.
The price is right has the most random prizes ever.
Make that "military dictatorship."
I miss Lennisha
And Rich.
3:38 Plice Is Right?
Justin 3:38
That blonde girl look pissed she didn’t get that Porsche
0:21 girl on left's reaction @ Fiji

2013
How is she going to afford the taxes on that Porshe?!
Good question...
She could sell it...of course, then there’s taxes on that too.
@@intsoccersuperstar1 Gotta pay the taxes first. Or else walk away.

She's my sister-in-law! She took the cash and used it towards their fabulous wedding!
44k for an elantra and two trips i guess it was because the hair lol
my dad and i bid on each of the showcases. he may have won the porsche, but i won Fiji and a Hyundai =)
and, yes, this win is loooonnng overdue

You’re bid don’t mean shit if you don’t post bidding dollars.
GREAT VIDEO.................

I still don't understand why we allow our government to tax us 40% on winnings. No other civilized country in the world does that.
Love the cayenne porsche

Well over due cause they're black or what? I'm confused..
always bid $1 when you think the other person went over....
Keith Mauldin The
1 dollar bid is lame
I would bid $10
Kizuwanda seemed gracious and didn’t want to grandstand.
she probably estimated
@SchwarzeWitwe2 Could be worse. And the winner on Wheel of Fortune goes to MEXICO! Passport? Shots? Is your Will made out yet?!
If you are going to do videos, sound is very important, this sucks.
