Always great seeing winners in this very difficult game. It always come down to a minimum 50/50 chance at winning when you are down to the last number and a strike.
3 strikes needs to be retired. That game is a nail biter. The odds are against you. The best part about the game even if you get the first two strikes you're in good shape then you got to guess all five of the numbers and put them in right spot the worst part is you get the last third strike and the game is over
I really like how Drew finally got into the game. His first year he was rather uptight (probably nerves), but it's good to see he's finally kickin' ass and havin' fun with it.

@TVLubber Well, they TRIED to give away a $112,000 Tesla Roadster -- which was the most expensive prize ever offered in TPIR history -- this time last year in Golden Road (renamed Green Road for Earth Day), but didn't. But the most expensive prize WON on TPIR was a $105,000 cabin cruiser (also in Golden Road) during a Million Dollar Spectacular in 2005.
I wouldn't have said a Chevy Volt was as much as this one was, but I guess it's a 3 strikes level car. Of course if the game was That's Too Much or Stack the Deck, the car would not likely have been won :)

On April 22,2011 here in St Louis Mo due to the weather coverage of severe weather i missed 30 minutes of the price is right and there was going to be a severe weather outbreak here in St Louis Mo at the time and it was good Friday so i missed the 30 minutes of the price is right.

"Triple Play" is still winless, still continues on a 10 game losing streak, and was lost on the episode from March 22, while this game has been won twice this season (the episodes from February 18 and today) and is at 2-1. I wonder what'll happen to "Golden Road" next time they play that game.
exactly, they begin in 4-9 for price with this game (40K-90K) and never are 3 (limited few times with this game was it ever that and beginning at 30K or a standard price for a standard car game). they never begin in 2 for price or less (20K). If it begins in 10 (100K+) rebuild prop to accommodate 100K+ being the price of the car as golden road, 3 strikes and triple play are played 10X a year or less, production needs to pick people who know what they are doing when pricing the kinds of cars given away on those games, for 3 strikes and golden road they need to at production level pick people who know exactly what they're doing with them with no mistakes able to be made due to the limited play frequency with them. if they are picking people who do not know, make them do their homework on the luxury car they are playing for and they should know its price at all times to perform to the correct result of a win

It is always exciting when a contestant wins a car in 3 Strikes because it is a very difficult game to play.
