I miss the old days when the camera zoomed in on the digit being guessed, and that evil looking "NO" popped up on the screen if the guess was incorrect.
The first time since Drew been on there somebody won 3 strikes when they put all 3 strikes in the basket. I think it's was better when they put only one strike in the basket.
wow! that was an amazing three strikes win. i did not think jalice was going to win that cadillac. congratulations jalice. remember, drive carefully, and obey all the traffic safety rules.
Wow, it shows you how little I follow game shows any more when I thought that 3 Strikes had been retired due to that infamous episode where Drew Carey bitches about how slow-paced the game is, thereby making the game longer. >.> I'm glad it's back, though.
notice how there is actually 3 strikes in there, they changed the game a long time ago so that, there is only 1 strike in there, and if you drew the strike, Bob would just put the strike back in there, but apparently they changed it back, I wonder why
it's about time someone finally won 3 STRIKES under the 3 strikes in the bag sucks, but hey at least the "5" we see is back where it belongs. I LOVE THAT "5"
8:10 Release the doves!!!! I surprised they didn't have a shot of the Blue Angels flight squad flying in the sky, confetti, balloons, a choir singing "Hallejulah". I guess that won't happen until someone wins Temptation. LOL
@thegameshowguy1, I agree I think Burton is being anouncer for other shows cause of that his schedule is busy he could not do it. Now he did do a good job subing in for Rod. So you can he is a good anouncer but, due to schedule conflict he can not do it.
+Robi_CK I was saying the exact same thing! You lose all sense of thinking when you get up on stage. Man, I said the same thing. But you know her male cousins are thinking how they can get their hands on that "Caddie"
When there were only 2 slots left and the 8 wasn't in the 5th, she has to look at the audience to make sure that she should put it n the last possible option lol
the jitters are real. I mean that has to be a little overwhelming being on TV, trying to win a 45k car, having an audience screaming for you, and Drew Carey standing next to you. I'm always surprised people don't just faint all the time
Well, don't feel too bad about her not making it to the showcases. Another contestant who won a car won his showcase which also had a car. Drew really should've made like Barker and come through the audience when 3 Strikes was the first game. That or Golden Road or Plinko.
@WayoshiM I had no idea. No wonder he didn't the job. If not Burton, then I'd call up Randy West or Paul Boland, Roger Rose, Bob Hilton, all the announcers that have been great on TPiR except Daniel Rosen. He's just horrific.
nwjazz When she pulls her hand out of the bag, you see there's a flap she has to reach through. So, it appears the bag is actually covered to prevent contestants from seeing the numbers when looking down at the bag. Whether Drew mixed the bag up or not, she could move her hand around and feel both of the disks and decide which one to pull out. That being said, I don't think his mixing the bag up on the last try would have changed the outcome.
sharkheadism I think this guy was one of several who they had auditioning for the position. The same thing happened when Rod Roddy died: they had several different announcers (including Burton Richardson) narrate a few episodes, before finally deciding on a new announcer.
+sharkheadism The show was going in a different direction, and it was deemed that rich was not the best announcer for what they had in mind. Sad to say they canned rich right before drew got back from his African vacation around the time the soccer world cup was going on. Cause iirc drew said, he would've defended rich from termination like barker did years ago.
So happy that she won the most gruesomely unlucky odds-stacked-against-your-favor game on the PIR! I would rather do Hole in One or Two game for a car any day than 3 Strikes!
But what does the winner do , if they can't afford to pay the " taxes " that you have to pay in America ??? sell it and pay and buy a cheaper car ?? sort of makes winning a bit sour though ...
Yup, it's better here in Canada, we don't pay taxes on prizes or lotto wins. We win it, we get it. A girl from here in Canada won a Jeep on Price is Right, & she got to take the cash. (about $25,000)
Nah you can't even do that. The way the Price is Right works is that they ship the car to a dealership within 200 driving miles of your house. The Price is Right is required to make arrangements within 90 days to ship the vehicle. The winner is then notified and given 10 days and 10 days only to pick up the vehicle after notification of availability. If the winner fails to pick it up within the 10 days you forfeit the prize. When you drive to dealership to pick it up, you must bring the tax money with you. If you cannot afford the taxes you DO NOT get the car. This includes paying federal AND state income tax since the prize is considered a cash prize and as such income for you.
I still love the Price is Right, I like the rotation announcers but I still say they should've kept Rich Fields on the show, they wrong for getting rid of Rich like that, the show ain't the same without Rich Fields, Phire Dawson, Lanisha Cole, Shane Stirling and Brandi Sherwood, they were awesome and I can't believe they gone.
the fact that she had to continue looking out to the audience even when it was obvious where certain numbers should go after being narrowed down is absolutely pathetic. She didn't deserve to win this car.
this show has changed more in 4 years than the previous 36 years it was on the air.
I thought the same, & so many announcers
Finally! I've been waiting to see this for quite a while. Congratz to the winner! :D
8:12 - BAM! You got the car! Wow! I was afraid she was going to pull out a third stike but nope she didn't! She got the car!
Glad to see Drew get excited. Sometimes he looks bored when the contestants win.
I hope she is still enjoying that sweet car!
2022
She did a good job of not drawing strikes
My favorite game show ever
I miss the old days when the camera zoomed in on the digit being guessed, and that evil looking "NO" popped up on the screen if the guess was incorrect.
Thanks for clearing that up. Now I can finally get some sleep.
I think my heart stopped omg... I remember this on tv haha.
Janesse looked like Sgt. Amanda Green. She was an African soldier who served in the Cristero War.
That 3 strikes win always to start the show exciting!!!!!!!
the scoreboard is suppose to blink off and on when they have a winner
Jalice is absolutely GORGEOUS!
@khidak1 Well, I for one would say 3 Strikes was the biggest win from today because the car was a Cadillac but Money Game was a great win too.
The first time since Drew been on there somebody won 3 strikes when they put all 3 strikes in the basket. I think it's was better when they put only one strike in the basket.
Finally, this win deserve a clang & whoops effect.
wow! that was an amazing three strikes win. i did not think jalice was going to win that cadillac. congratulations jalice. remember, drive carefully, and obey all the traffic safety rules.

OH DANG!! I NEVER EVEN NOTICED UNTIL I READ THIS!! HOLY ****!!!
Supposedly just one strike in the bag increased the odds of winning.
8:12 you got you got it ding ding ding 🤑💰💰🚘
Now is this the "Annual" or "Semi-Annual" 3 Strikes win? That's what I want to know!
@HomeRnDrby1 Lately, it's been tri-annual seeing as this is the first win on the Big 3 (4 if you count Pay The Rent) since Season 36.
Thank God someone won 3 strikes!
When was the last time this was won with 3 strikes in the bag?
What happened to "Three Strikes Plus"?
it's about time someone finally won 3 STRIKES
under the 3 strikes in the bag sucks, but hey at least the "5" we see is back where it belongs. I LOVE THAT "5"
8:10 Release the doves!!!! I surprised they didn't have a shot of the Blue Angels flight squad flying in the sky, confetti, balloons, a choir singing "Hallejulah". I guess that won't happen until someone wins Temptation. LOL

That was great!
MY FAVORITE GAME!!!!!
a very long first PG for TPIR; it culminated in no SP games. Still not as long as the 12 minute Super Ball playing 20 years ago with Mohini.
At 7:30 - why the hell is she looking at the audience?! It's rather obvious where "8" goes...
+Robi_CK I was saying the exact same thing! You lose all sense of thinking when you get up on stage. Man, I said the same thing. But you know her male cousins are thinking how they can get their hands on that "Caddie"
Nerves. You would do the same, I'm sure.
I thought they went back to putting one strike in the bag instead of three different ones to make it easier to play.
When there were only 2 slots left and the 8 wasn't in the 5th, she has to look at the audience to make sure that she should put it n the last possible option lol
Kachow I noticed that too 😂😂
Rather stupid..right?!!!!!
the jitters are real. I mean that has to be a little overwhelming being on TV, trying to win a 45k car, having an audience screaming for you, and Drew Carey standing next to you. I'm always surprised people don't just faint all the time
I wonder if you can feel the number or the X with your finger's
Did anyone notice that the price upon the readout of the actual price did not flash?
It's my second-favourite game, next to Dice Game.
WHOA, she won that car!! I wonder if she won the showcase??
That WAS exciting!!!!!!
Happy birthay zachery love you mom
This game is too hard with 3 strikes. They should have one strike.
Finally at 5:45 she gets 1 number correct
@Joshuaguss Well, yes, they've pretty much made the game impossible now.
I love a 3 strikes win, but it always looks a little weird that the price flashes, but the dollar sign doesn't. Or is it just me?
@GamsShowNetwork, Thaks man he is the anouncer for Family Game Night.
THE DROUGHT IS OVER!
Nice job and thought to continue next week show same time same channel
You're not the only one. I missed it, too.
@GSNSmashFan3 That's a shame! I saw it! I was amazed!
Well, don't feel too bad about her not making it to the showcases. Another contestant who won a car won his showcase which also had a car.

Drew didn't shake the bag before she made the last pick and I have to wonder if she could see the numbers before she choose the winner.
nwjazz When she pulls her hand out of the bag, you see there's a flap she has to reach through. So, it appears the bag is actually covered to prevent contestants from seeing the numbers when looking down at the bag. the only time he's supposed to mix the bag is when he replaces a disc
Why can't 3 Strikes be like the old times where there were far more winners?
Used to be one strike
George Gray?
Terrific win
How long did they have this announcer? I don't remember seeing him, so his run must've been pretty short.
this who they had when Rich got fired and before George was hired
+TheDeviantRUclipsr any idea why rich got fired? or why didn't they go with the guy in this clip?
sharkheadism I think this guy was one of several who they had auditioning for the position. The same thing happened when Rod Roddy died: they had several different announcers (including Burton Richardson) narrate a few episodes, before finally deciding on a new announcer.

yes. There were almost 1 new one every couple days.
Congrats! But look very carefully at the 8:10 mark and tell me that she pulled out both the number and the strike at the same time!
You be the Judge!
That Loralee... She's hot.. She's like, wow! Amazing..
So happy that she won the most gruesomely unlucky odds-stacked-against-your-favor game on the PIR! I would rather do Hole in One or Two game for a car any day than 3 Strikes!
Nah there are worse games out there like 50 50 games suck the most imo
But what does the winner do , if they can't afford to pay the " taxes " that you have to pay in America ??? sell it and pay and buy a cheaper car ?? sort of makes winning a bit sour though ...

Get a loan and use the car for collateral?
That was a close call. Lol!
This game seems really unfair compared to many of the others. Even if you knew the whole price beforehand, your chances of winning are a measly 62.5%.
Why did CBS get rid of their "eye" curtain?
I'm not sure. I think the sets they used when Barker was the host looked a lot nicer than the sets used with Carey.
+BikerBoyNJ I doubt Drew has anything to do with the prop's they use LOL
yvonneost12 I know, they just changed it when he became the host.
8:09 Miracle
I think $45,000 is the biggest single prize win since Drew took over
No it’s a Audi worth 157,300
This announcer is much, much better than George Gray. He actually sounds like he enjoys his job and is not trying to strain to get excited.
Sorry, Steve White sounds like he is puking. Burton Richardson was a helluva lot better imho
LOL! You have a point. I forgot about Burton.
hdayejr Fuck them BOTH! Rod Roddy was # 1
Nils Skudaarkaat I'd call Rod #2, with Johnny Olson as # 1
DFTFT :D
Do you have the true WTF moment later in this episode? That was just wrong. Just wrong.
Lesa when her car on earth day 2011 using those same numbers but hers was $42, 853.
People jump when they are happy. Don't mind me, just doing research on your species.
Don't get me started haha... why duckfaces? why this? why that? ...wait. "your" species??!!
Uh oh....Someone got triggered. :oP
@WayoshiM Oh, ok. Just wondering.
Really? 50,00 dollars FOR A CAR?!
Mike Richards must be pissed off about this by now. HAHAHA!!!
Oh Drew, you had no clue here, you had no clue on Whose Line... and yet you're a millionaire. Go figure.....
Steve White is a good announcer but he is no Burton Richardson. CBS should've called up Burton and made him the permanent announcer for TPIR.
Rain
@CoolNala
Ditto!
Contestants have to meet eligibilty requirements before the shows!!!!
*taxes lol A girl from my town won a $25,000 Jeep, & she got to take the cash. Otherwise, she would have to pay about $3,000 in taxes.
Gravydog316 she still has to pay taxes on the money
Gravydog316 if you dont need the car its better to take cash because you have to try and sell a used car. you cant get around paying tax though
@WayoshiM i say dig up rod roddy and keep him goin ha
damn she's hot...and a winner too!
the fact that she had to continue looking out to the audience even when it was obvious where certain numbers should go after being narrowed down is absolutely pathetic. She didn't deserve to win this car.
My
8:09
$45283 Caddy? I could only IMAGINE her insurance costs! LOL!
Depends where she lives. My Moms is $100/month for a 2017 Escalade that was $117,000.
Gravydog316 yeah that’s a fucking Escalade not a performance coupe dumbass
The African American gets a Cadillac....wow. Going to get wheels on it........ in 3.......2........1
+Yourmomisbomb007 pretty sure it already had wheels on it.
