"Oh that's the son"
"Oh they got home"
I can practically hear the whistling of air blowing through their heads
In the comics it happened entirely off panel and Nolan wasn't injured
The Invinciverse and the Boysverse have one big thing in common: You don't need a mask to protect your secret identity, just change your clothes.
Yeah, those two guys that Darkwing crucified are definitely deader than dead.
If you guys enjoy this show definitely check out the boys which is basically a live action version of this show and tackles more serious issues
(At 38:50) the fact Nolan got OLDER in that world… makes it even worse.
"How do you stop this dude?" That's the fun part! You don't!
Mark from invincible is based of Nightwing. Both got the same last name is well. Mark grayson. Richard Grayson
Fun theory red rush's death happened at super speed just that they slowed it down for us🤣
Idk what’s funnier them arguing over who’s the voice actor or them just not pausing it will show them.
According to Kirkman, the creator, Invincible takes place in Baltimore Maryland.
For Parker, Damien's the kid from The Omen who's meant to be the anti-Christ, So its probably a nod to that
well damien has been used as the name of the son of satan in many works
Damien, Devlin, and others get used a lot as the name of hell aligned characters because the sound similar to Demon or Devil etc. If I had a dollar for every evil character that is secretly Satan being called Lucy or Lou... I could have a reasonable night out and a good meal.
It’s actually a pastiche of Rorschach, Constantine and Hellboy
@@skribe for sure, more just addressing where he recognised it from
Dale? Most people see a grown up Bobby Hill from King of the Hill in Donald.
The show is based on an incredible comic series written by robert kirkman the creator of the walking dead.
Some people might not know that Robert Kirkman got a lot of the Walking Dead cast to voice the Guardians of the Globe.
Also, I think Kitty Pryde can levitate. At least, eventually as she got stronger. Also, the Green Girl realized that because she became solid to catch her colleague, it made her vulnerable to be attacked. I also think they show the security guard storyline to remind people that the non-superheroes have lives going on too and to really show how tragic it is when there are casualties in these superhero battles.
"How do you stop this guy?"
Me: That's the neat part! You don't.
happy to see you react to this show 😅👍, also because is going to be longer videos 🤗
That isn't a X over her female symbol, it's the rings surrounding an Atom, hence the name "Atom Eve"
I guess because Omni man’s body would age even slower there so he actually spent a hot minute in that realm just fucking shit up.
Oh my god, you're right, he totally reminds me of Prince Wu!
BEST SHOW EVER! it gets better and better
Y’all all look incredibly amazing! Where y’all get y’all lighting… God ? Lol 😍🖤✨ the two girls with the glasses look like the actress who played velma on the scooby doo live action movies 💯
This story is by the same guy that made the walking dead, rob kirkman has a thing for eyes popping out lmao
Sokka =Rex??! No way! While they are certainly both sarcastic, Rex is 100% dick lol Sokka never goes that far
Wow, just because someone is older, you're ready to just declare them dead already.
43:25 are you referring to The Omen?
so omni man was on the flaxons planet for a year
Damian was a kid in "The Omen"
Cecil Steadman doesn't want Omni-man to know that they know. Damien Darkblood would expose the truth and set things off before Cecil and that organization have anytime to prepare.
They deaths were different in both comic and show in the show it was way more graphic and drawn out but in the comic they all got one shot in a single panel and didn't even put up a fight
i mean.. do you really want to question a guy who could literally wipe out an entire civilization?
(At 38:05) Holy Fuck: TomTom
I know Alex dismissed the idea that cecil has powers but also your argument that technology is a power is the same as saying batman or iron man have powers, their technology allows them to fight on the level of gods and super beings but no they don't really have any powers
38:57 The aliens' basically perceive time faster on their planet. It's not exactly because of their physiology but rather because of the planet itself (kind of like that planet on Interstellar except reverse). So Omniman staying there just means he aged the same rate as the aliens over there. He aged faster over there and older by the time he's back.
In fact he didn't age much, if the flaxens attoms age faster in our dimension Omni man attoms would age slower in theirs. The fact his beard grew was simple because time passed.
@@arthurbailon5851 Yeah, he might have spent weeks or even months there, local time. Even for him it takes time to punch a whole civilisation back to the stone age.
Ya'll were so dismissive of this old grandma's life it hurt my heart :(
lmao
27:30 I think it's not a cross, it's orbiting electrons, like it's an atom. It's not very visible.
It's the simplified design for distant shots, which ended up being used in most shots due to a mislabelled character sheet. There are _two_ scenes in the whole series where the proper symbol (though with two orbits instead of three as in the books) can be seen, but they're easy to miss. The authors are aware of the mix-up, and say it should be fixed in future seasons.
36:57 that was terrifying
They are in America. The Canada shirt was a shout-out to his mom's voice actress Sandra Oh. She's canadian-american.
According to Robert Kirkman himself, it's because his son had a similar shirt that he wore a lot (because he thought it was funny that the shirt just says "CANADA"), so Cory Walker decided to put the shirt on young Mark.
the X is supposed to be an Atom, but I guess it was some sort of animation error
Mislabelled character sheet; the simplified design for distant shots, ended up being used almost everywhere. The authors are aware of the mix-up, and say it should be fixed in future seasons.
The "X" on Atom-Eve's costume is supposed to be an atom symbol, but the animators were too lazy and went for a simplified version. Problem is it looks like it's a symbol of "no female" or something which is not what it's supposed to be.
The Demon detective was like my favorite. Too bad he they sent him somewhere else
the 'x' is a representation of an election orbital path of an atom. so she is 'atom eve' eve being the first female.
the show takes place in Chicago
Parker recap so good lol
i wish we got more of seth rogan and allen in this season but i get it, theres a ton to set up and they put all they could into the limited number of episodes.
27:32 it’s not an X rather it’s actually an atomic symbol combined with the female symbol.
Fish man’s name was Aquarus, for what it’s worth
It’s not an X. On her world it means hope.
Nah just kidding. It’s actually an atomic symbol wrapped around the female symbol. They just couldn’t properly animate the atomic symbol.

Now they are prepared the real show... maybe.
Damien was the name of the kid from The Omen
I am very excited to see your reactions to the rest of the show.
Love these Invincible reactions!
