Tommy,you're great,but I bought the 10ft Nytro light carp. The handle snapped under my forearm with the first decent fish of about 4 pounds first time fishing with it! .Sorry,worthless piece of kit!

Did you have the drag set on the reel?

If it was a feeder rod and the final tip insert broke they may send you another. If an actual rod segment broke then the rod is naff

@@LolcowAdmirer They offered to replace it because they seemed to know that it was obviously a production error,but I chose to be refunded instead. I never had any problems with feederrods from other brands,so no more Nytro for me.
