    Such a wealth of knowledge and comes across as the coolest person in fishing ‘cos he is. Plus I have come to love using fjuka baits
    they are awesome in right circumstances.

    Started my angling life at Ravenfield in the late 1950s. My dad worked at " Steelo's" and was a member of the fishing club which entitled his offspring to fish there . wonderful place

    Lovely video, by far the best parts we're when you focused on the float so that we could see the bites. Not into line diameters, only understand bs in lbs. A better way of judging the depth is this. Put two stops above the float and set them to the depth with the plummet then you can leave the top one in place and adjust the fishing depth with the bottom one. By the was £81 a year is VERY expensive compared to what we pay in my area, it's at least double. Shall definitely watch more of your videos.

    When you've finished put a loop 2ft above the float with a loop tyer and put it on a long pole rig winder then tie a 8turn blood knot onto the loop with the mainline on your next trip storing the rig in a tube never had a problem quick and easy

    Thinking of Eid attacking everything on the drop, would not have changing bait to corn or worm etc have put them off and attracted another species on the bottom..?
    Brilliant on the go lesson..

    how do i know what size waggler to use? is bigger wagglers for deeper waters?

    • @russellevans5726
      @russellevans5726 Месяц назад +1

      Yes bud’ longer waggled type floats are for deeper water and shorter puddle
      chucker type floats or even pole floats if fishing close in on light tackle. Cheers

    0.20 line means absolflippinglutely NOTHING to me. Fished for 50 years, I'm a fishmonger using scales all day long and it means nothing. Why not just use proper English POUNDS for breaking strains??? Every angler knows what a one pound or a five pound or a thirty pound fish looks like.
